Layers turned off on open of previously saved file
When opening a previously saved file, multiple groups across artboards have their visibility turned off when they are active at save point.

Thanks for your help! I've just emailed the team as suggested, but to answer your questions here as well:
Yes when I open the file after fixing the visibility issues it happens again, sometimes more layers get added to the missing batch.
I’m working on a MacBook Pro M1 (2021) with mac OS 13.4.1. Illustrator is at 27.6.1.
The file itself is saved onto an external drive (ExFAT). I gave tried saving it to Cloud CC Library and interestingly the issue doesn’t appear when reopening that file.

Harry, it’s no exactly clear which groups are hidden... I suppose those empty areas in the middle, but it’s a guess, since you forgot to share the screenshot of the expanded Layers panel.
When you fix the visibility and resave the file — does the problem happen again when you reopen it back?
If yes — can you please share the original file with the team via sharewithai@adobe.com? Provide your full OS specs also, so they can replicate this on the same configuration.
Also — does it happen only in 27.61 or 27.7 or are you using another version? Does it help to use an older one?
