When using the option during Save to save each artboard to its own file, the thumbnails for each of the individual files shows all the artboards instead of the the artboard being saved.

Save a multiple artboard file using the option discussed above.

Your expected result and the actual result:
Each file should have a thumbnail of only it's respective artboard instead of all artboards together, which is especially useless if there are a lot of artboards.
