Font menu blank
Drop down font menu has stopped working in all illustrator docs.
Turned all fonts on / off in Creative Cloud, no change, it's also showing all fonts are installed on the CC app.
Creative Cloud is working fine
Illustrator is up to date (28.0)
Internet connection is fine.

Jim, what about the dedicated Character panel — does the dropdown list in it behaves the same way as in Properties?
What about the 'keyboard dropping out', what does it mean? The keyboard just stops working at all, or the hotkeys fail, or they just vanish, or what? Please give more details — and perhaps make it a separate report instead of a comment for the different thing. Same for the 'black save screen' — what do you call a 'save screen'? Can you share a screenshot?

Type - Font menu shows the font list, the screenshots attached are from the properties panel (where it's not showing up)
I'm also having issues with the save screen coming up black and the keyboard dropping out- these are for illustrator only.

I assume the same happens when you try to access fonts from dropdowns in Properties, in Control panel, and from Type > Font menu?
