Mockup (Beta) in Illustrator not working due to PARM error
I am trying to use the Mockup (Beta) tool, and every time i get the "the operation cannot complete because of an unknown error [PARM]" message and the action cancels.
I'm attempting to mockup using a compound path and a png. I've updated and reinstalled both the app and the mockup installer. I've also tried using the newest and previous versions of Illustrator. I've also removed my preferences and still no luck.
Any ideas? I've used Mockup on this computer multiple times without error.

Glad it got resolved, but sad the bug got away.
Do you still have the original artwork? Can you please privately send it to the team to study? Use sharewithai@adobe.com (and put the link to this report in the body of the email, so they can can connect it to this report — http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/48230054) -

I tried with a rectangle and it worked. Looks like it was some problem with my vector file, when i re-traced it that cleared the issue. Thanks!

Please check this in your CCD app window:
1. Go to Beta apps section
2. Click the 'three dot' More Action button (next to Open) and choose 'Add-ons'
Make sure that Mockup-related feature components are added (three of current four, except the Retype one).
Even though you say you let the installer run — do you have all three successfully installed and listed there? -
Avery, when launching Ai Beta, do you get any error messages about loading a 'GenerateUI.aip' plugin? I get one for 28.5.0.66.
Does it work, when you try to mockup a much simpler object, like a simple ellipse or rectangle? or try to use a different image?
