Subject: Issue with Type Tool - Font Changes Automatically After Pressing Spacebar

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to report an issue I am encountering with the Type Tool in Adobe Illustrator.
When I select any font and start typing, the font automatically changes after I press the spacebar. This issue occurs regardless of the font selected, and I am unsure why this is happening.
Could you please assist me in resolving this problem? I would appreciate your guidance on how to fix this issue or if there is a setting I need to adjust.

Unmesh, can you please open Preferences > Type and uncheck Enable Missing Glyph Protection option?
Does it change anything in the behavior? Please comment back. -
