TIF files from Adobe Libraries are not supported
TIF files from Adobe Libraries are not supported in Illustrator. This has been a problem for at least a year now that needs to be fixed. Unfortunately, we have had to create jpeg files and relink the graphics for all of our clients. I am unsure why that file type would not be supported.

Heidi, yep, won’t work for me. They do get added into library, but won’t get placed form one on canvas :(
And when it did, it didn’t worked properly, like this report stated:
TIFF images as assets in CC Libraries are always placed as PNG images on the artboard
