EXPORT AS JPEG (at least) 150 dpi's option is not working properly
PLEASE CHECK - it says 150 dpi's but the file is less. If I do the same in a previous version of illustrator, it is accepted.

I’m afraid yes, you’d have to stick to the older build :(
I informed the team about the wrong resolution written in files, and was told they are going to review it, but got no further confirmation so far. When it happens, I or another moderator will update the status of the report.
Pretty sure no discounts exist for something like this :/ -

Thank you for your reply.
Sometimes, depending on the image file, I'll do that 'sorting', but really, very occasionally.
It is not about the detail loss. What I really need to see fixed is the pixel's resolution - I have 'image upload services' that only allow/validate the upload if their 150 dpi's (sharp), not more or less...
I have to work this on the older version of illustrator until this is fixed?
And, Adobe, I am untitled to a discount or a gift as I cannot use the software properly as before, and as promised?

I see now, thanks for sharing the file.
When exporting your JPEG, please try to change the Antialiasing method: from 'Type Optimized (Hinted)' to 'Art Optimized (Supersampling)'. This should make the small details stay in the final image, just the way you had them. Please drop a comment if it helps! The only help article that mentions the difference is this one: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/add-advanced-formatting-to-text.html
It says:
— Art Optimized (Supersampling): Default option that rasterizes all objects, including text objects, by the specified resolution and applies anti-aliasing to them.
— Type Optimized (Hinted): Applies anti-aliasing that is best suited to type. Anti-aliasing reduces the appearance of jagged edges in the rasterized image and gives type a smoother onscreen appearance. -

Here an original .ai file for testing - it has some layers to replicate usual environment.
It's been happening in every .ai file, no matter what.
Thank you again. -
I am able to reproduce the wrong resolution written, but not the detail loss. That’s why I ask for the file. The team would need it to run tests anyway. You ca leave only one part of it, the one that matters.

You JPEG's clock 150 dpi's exactly when you export a .ai file to 'Export as'?
Really? Is it just mine?
(and yes when you take it to photoshop it tricks it) -
Still don’t get it.
I can clearly see the difference, some fine details are missing in the one made with 2025. Also, the newer image indeed had 96 ppi written into it. But when I open it in Photoshop, it says it’s 150!
But again, I can’t make it happen from the scratch.
Can you please share the original file you used to generate these images? -

Let's see... Somehow they're coded diferently, as from 2025 I cannot upload to 150 dpi's limit/ maximum resolution 'web service' - in 2024 files upload fine.
Here are the samples generated by each Illustrator (2024 - 28.7.1 and 2025 - 29.3)
Thank you!

Nope, works as intended for me.
Can you please share a test file that behaves like this for you? -

Hi Egor.
When you try to 'Export as...' > choose JPEG (jpg) > choose medium resolution (150 dpi's) on JPEG optionsTks

Can’t replicate this. Can you please provide more detail? What method do you use? Export As, Export for Screens?
