I am repeatedly getting the same message when trying to save any files as AI or PNG to desktop. I cant save any of my work and therefore can not forward my designs - I am losing work because of this. Urgent critical help needed.
I have spent 2 days trying to export files, save as files, copy files. ETC ETC. I have tried multiple format files, I have tried copying work into new file and still it wont save. I have updated versions of all software.

Perhaps it’s too late to advise anything, but what about saving it as a PDF? Or into a cloud?
What happens if you copy the artwork into a new document and try to save — does it work?
Does saving an empty new document work?
