Custom toolbars with plugin tools rearrange themselves alphabetically on launch
Windows 11, Illustrator 29.3.1
I use a custom toolbar with the tools I use most frequently (many Astute Graphics plugin tools), arranged in a specific order that I go to with muscle memory. Recently (2 updates ago?), they jumbled up – actually, they arranged themselves alphabetically descending top to bottom – but for my purposes, this is illogically jumbled, and I have to hunt for tools visually; it is very annoying and time-wasting. Then I noticed they were in my proper order again… next day, jumbled. I’ve worked out what is happening. First Illustrator launch of the day… alphabetically jumbled. Reset the custom workspace… still jumbled. Shut down Illustrator and restart… tools in the correct order. It only takes a few minutes, but it’s a daily ritual I could do without.

Huh, it happened again for me, but this time the order got flipped!

Hi Egor, I just checked back and noticed that the comment I made with the Tools Panel Presets file attached didn't have it attached. Having tried again, it simply won't attach - I'll try over on Slack.

I had this problem, and I had to rebuild my tool panels from scratch to stop this from happening.
I feel like it happens because the team made some changes to allow their new Getting Started tool panel to exist, with dividers and captions... can’t confirm this though, yet hopefully.
Andre, can you please share your 'Tools Panel Presets' file?
