Artboard Range field loses focus in Save Adobe PDF dialog on macOS
I am experiencing an issue in Adobe Illustrator when trying to save a specific artboard as a PDF.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open an Illustrator document containing multiple artboards.
2. Select File > Save a Copy > Adobe PDF.
3. Enable Use Artboards and select Range.
4. Click inside the Range field and attempt to replace the existing value (e.g., 1-5) with 1.
Actual result: The keyboard input is redirected to the file name field instead of the Artboard Range field.
Expected result: The Range field should accept the specified artboard number normally.
System:
- Mac Studio, Apple M5 Max, 36 GB RAM
- macOS Golden Gate 27.0.1
- Adobe Illustrator 2026 (30.8.2)
The issue is reproducible, and I can provide a screen recording demonstrating the behavior.
This prevents me from exporting individual artboards through the normal PDF Save dialog.
