  1. Paste in Front not pasting on current artboard

    Paste in Front keeps pasting objects back on the original artboard, not on the one I have in focus, or a selected object on. Seems to error randomly, but when it does not work, it blows my productivity.

  2. RGB colors appear differently in identical file setup

    I have created color codes in one document and brought them into another (with the exact same RGB setup) and the color breakdowns change to look the same. This is a problem because if I am sharing the RGB breakdowns with others, some of the colors appear much duller. I have noticed that something changes when an image is brought in from an external source sometimes. This is becoming a big issue across our team.

  3. "An unknown error has occurred" when saving Illustrator file

    Keep getting "An unknown error has occurred" when saving Illustrator file. This is costing us time and money now as every-time we create a new file the start working it decides all of a sudden we cant save our work.

    Need Help on this!!!

  4. Colors in entire file are suddenly completely wrong (when not in pixel preview mode)

    I just encountered this bug on macOS 10.14 with Illustrator 2021. After pasting a PNG into my document, the colors of everything suddenly look very different and washed out.

    I can "fix" this by using Pixel Preview mode OR "View using CPU", but that slows down my workflow. I even tried opening an earlier version before I pasted the PNG, and the colors are still completely wrong! Can anyone help?

  5. Copy (or Cut) \ Paste: the object appears on the same layer when another layer is selected.

    Hello,
    1.
    Windows 10, Illustrator 25.2
    2.
    I have an object\s on layer 1. I copy\cut it. Select layer 2, press Paste - the object Appears on layer 1 and layer 2 is still selected.
    3.
    It should appear on layer 2 as it was before.
    4.
    I can not copy\paste objects on another layer, I can only move them in Layer Window.

  6. All PNG's exported are blurry

    Every time I export a file to PNG, it comes out blurry. It also appears blurry when I turn on the pixel preview. I have never experienced this problem until I recently updated my version of Illustrator. Exporting to PDF does not cause an issue.

    I am using Windows 10 Pro version 19042.746, with Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10500T CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz, Installed ram: 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable), 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor.

  7. Appearance and coloring issues

    Appearance of grouped elements is having the old issue on appearance, that individual color properties of the elements are visible on the grouped elements, so making coloring a troublesome stuff.

  8. Holding Alt and moving the mouse lags

    When holding down alt and moving the mouse, the cursor lags almost like it is being processed at 10 fps. I'm using all high-end components, so it's not an issue with processing power.

    Overprint check stays on, even when overprinting object is deselected. This causes confusion when printing.

  10. SVGs opened in Illustrator don't include blend modes

    I created an SVG in Illustrator that has some layers using the blend mode "overlay". I export out the SVG and it looks perfect. If I open that SVG in Illustrator it turns the blend modes into "normal" instead of "overlay".

  11. Area Type Text with Vertical Alignment Breaks in CC Libraries

    It seems if I set an Area Type box to Accent and apply Center Vertical Alignment in the Area Type Options that the text will break up (perhaps by kerning pairs?) once reopened.

    The Area Type text is gone and it's broken up point type.

    If I were to use a standard Area Type box (Baseline: Em Box Height; Vertical Alignment: Top), there's no issue, and the text remains editable as Area Type.

  12. Change Illustrator paste offset distance to closer to cursor inside of viewing area

    Illustrator often pastes objects randomly outside of my viewing area, and I have to zoom out and scroll over to get it. I want to change the offset distance so it pastes inside my view area, not outside of it. OR, make it paste near where the cursor is, not way off somewhere.

  13. Character Information in Properties Panel not appearing

    When I click on any text the Character information in the properties panel immediately disappears. The character information is only visible before I click with the Text tool. This is making it REALLY difficult to work with text.

  14. Saving .ai file on Catalina taking way too long

    Saving (command + S ) .ai file on Catalina taking way too long. Force quit applications says illustrator is not responding, left alone for about 8 minutes, it finally saves.

  15. All tools and actions are slow and lagging, random selection in Ilustrator 2020

    All tools lagging. cursor selects items randomly and drags them around when non having been selected. Illustrator 2020 CC installed

  16. Free Transform tool scales in steps instead of smoothly

    When using the Free Transform tool to resize a text box, the transform isn't smooth, it jumps by huge amounts when dragging, and produces completely unpredictable results. After that, the outline of the text box disappears, but is still selected.

  17. Gradient issues: annotator jumps and changes direction on object hover

    2 problems in CC2020 on Mac OSX 10.15.1:

  18. Exporting as PNG I am loosing part of my stroke

    I'm having a problem while exporting as PNG from Illustrator CC. I use export for screens and I adjust the size width and high and choose PNG format to export. The when I open my image in PNG format my stroke is getting cut off. :/

    I attached a file in PNG format and another file in jpg format with any problem.

  19. Unable to save Illustrator file as SVG using artboards

    We use Illustrator to draw lots of icons.
    If we place each icon on an artboard and try to save each artboard to a file by selecting Save as > SVG > Use artboards > All, we expect multiple icons to be saved to multiple SVG files.

    We actually get multiple SVG files, but each SVG contains all layer names from the original file and one SVG icon.

    It would be very helpful, if manual cleanup after saving / exporting wasn't necessary.

  20. Paragraph styles not properly justifying

    I'm using the latest updated version of CC on mac High Sierra 10.13.6

    When I just use the justify option in the paragraph window, the type will justify properly, but when I've tried to create a paragraph style, the type hangs outside of the text box, no matter what I do.

    Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is this a bug issue? And if so, any workarounds? I'm working on a file that needs a lot of type, and Illustrator is preferred over InDesign (which I've never had a problem with).
