Radial gradient gets changed when a shape is resized
When I resize an object with a particular gradient, it gets adjusted on its own, which I didn't face before the update. Please fix the issue ASAP

I found a simple set of steps one can try to reproduce the problem.
I check if the angle of the gradient is 0°.
I create a rectangle and rotate it 90° counterclockwise — now the value is -90.
Then I create a square and the angle stick. Seems harmless, right?
But then I create a circle (still holding Shift)... looks OK, but the gradient now is rotated relative to the live shape’s internal angle! so when I scale it, Ai scales it the same ratio... but rotated.
Sometimes the angle DOES get reset automatically, but I can’t figure why it doesn’t when it doesn’t. -

Since Illustrator 29.x, radial gradients are always fixed as circles and no longer follow the shape of the object. This causes two major issues:
1. I need to manually adjust gradients every time, which slows down my workflow.
2. Gradients no longer update when scaling or rotating objects, breaking a fundamental part of my design process.I strongly request that Adobe provide a preference option to choose between the new “fixed circle” behavior and the legacy “follow object shape” behavior.
Thank you.

Perhaps this new bug report (but about linear gradients) is related...
Gradient does not rotate with object when using corner handles (manual transform)

I can confirm. Here’s how it looks for me.
