2. Exported Asset from Photoshop PDF file in Illustrator Renders Incorrectly in Photoshop

   Platform:
   • Adobe Illustrator Version: 29.3.1 (Latest as of 3/10/2025)
   • Operating System: Windows 11 (Fully Updated)
   • Hardware: Intel Core i9, NVIDIA RTX (Latest Drivers Installed)

   Issue Summary:
   When opening a Photoshop PDF in Illustrator, elements are recognized as Non-Native Art. When exporting an asset from this file using the Asset Export panel (see Screenshot-1.png), the resulting exported PDF does not display correctly in Photoshop (see Screenshot-2.png). Instead of rendering properly, the exported file contains distorted lines and artifacts, making it unusable.

   Steps to Reproduce:
   • Open a Photoshop PDF in Adobe Illustrator.
   • Observe that the artwork is identified as Non-Native Art in the Layers panel.
   • Use the Asset Export panel to export the image as a PDF.
   • Open the exported PDF in Adobe Photoshop.
   • Notice that the image is corrupted, with incorrect rendering, visible lines, and artifacts.

   Expected Behavior:
   • The exported asset should maintain the visual integrity of the original artwork.
   • When opened in Photoshop, it should closely match the original Photoshop PSD file in both resolution and appearance.

   Actual Behavior:

4. I can't make a mockup.

   The model option does not appear in the object menu. Also the mockup option does not appear in the Window menu. I don't understand why I can't see it even though I'm using the current version.

   In this case the Mockup add-on seemed to refuse to run with a non-English language used. If you have a similar problem — please try to switch the app language and reinstall both the application and the Mockup add-on manually through CCD. If it fixes it for you — please upvote and comment.

5. Performance operations are greatly affected by memory usage.

   1. The software has excessive memory usage upon startup, occupying about 1.2 GB, while CDR only takes up a few hundred MB.
   2. There is lag when continuously zooming in, changing, or copying content.
   3. The content consists of text and icons, with 60 artboards taking up more than 3.5 GB of memory, which is too much.
   4. The performance on a graphics card P1000 with 2 GB is not as good as CDR.
   5. There is room for optimization to make better use of multi-core and multi-threading capabilities.

   (Note: The original list had an item '4' which seems to be missing, so I translated the list up to item '5' and then '6' as provided.)

8. Manual Dimensions don’t stick to the objects they are intended to be linked to

   Starting form Ai Beta 28.4.0.7, dimension objects are sticky (linked) to the objects we click with the Dimension tool — so that when we move or transform the objects, their linked dimensions move with them.

   For some reason this applies only to 'Aligned dimensions' (those that are made with the click-drag-release method).

   When we use click-click-click method, Illustrator creates 'Manual dimensions', which look the same way as the aligned ones, but for some peculiar reasons that makes no sense to us, are not sticky.

   This means that we can’t apply live and linked dimensions to objects that are anything more complex than a simple rectangle (which are the majority of things we need to measure) and we can’t move the artwork without dimensions self-expanding (because currently we can’t move dimensions WITH objects either).

   This makes the whole sticky-live-linked thing just a toy, barely usable for real work. This is not how other apps and plugins for Illustrator do this, because it makes no sense.

   And finally, if you compare this behavior with the way Angular dimension works — it correctly links the dimension with both methods!

   Please fix the bug.

9. Memory Leak: Artboards/Raster Images/Generative Expand

   I'm playing around with creating small artboards on top of a raster image to delineate the areas I'd like to trace later. Every time I do anything with these artboards, I get a warning saying that Generative AI doesn't support raster images yet and my memory usage spikes and doesn't drop afterward. I found this out when my M1 MacBook Pro warned me that I was out of memory with Illustrator using 180GB (including swap, one assumes...).

    I’m experiencing an issue with the Eyedropper tool in the latest update of Adobe Illustrator. Previously, I was able to sample gradients directly from images and apply them to other objects with the Eyedropper tool, and this feature worked smoothly.     I've confirmed that the Eyedropper tool is functioning correctly with solid colors, but when I attempt to sample a gradient from an image, it only applies a single color instead of the gradient. 13. Illustrator hangs when copying and pasting text in CJK fonts

    If I copy and attempt to paste any Japanese language text in Illustrator, the app hangs for an extended period (1 minute or so), and then finally pastes the text rendering it nearly unusable. Do not have the same issue for English text.

14. BUG: Scripting from C#, arm64, Windows 11

    Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'Illustrator.Application'.
    This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{95CD20AA-AD72-11D3-B086-0010A4F5C335}' failed due to the following error:

    No such interface supported (0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)).

17. Inconsistent Anti-Aliasing When Combining Shapes with Outline in Adobe Illustrator

    Description: There is a noticeable inconsistency in anti-aliasing when combining shapes with an outline in Adobe Illustrator.

    Left Image (With Outline): Shapes with an outline are rasterized with a visible anti-aliasing effect.
    Right Image (Combined Shape): After combining the shapes, the anti-aliasing effect appears smoother and more refined.
    From my understanding, both images should exhibit similar anti-aliasing behavior when rasterized, as they are essentially the same shapes. However, the anti-aliasing in the first image (with outlines) is harsher compared to the combined result on the right.

    Expected Behavior: Both shapes should be rasterized with the same level of anti-aliasing, regardless of whether the shape has an outline or has been combined.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    Create shapes with outlines in Adobe Illustrator.
    Combine the same shapes using the "Pathfinder" or "Shape Builder" tool.
    Rasterize both results and compare the anti-aliasing effects.

19. Beta AI exports pictures as skewed and grayscale, with visible parallel lines

    When exporting JPG design Ai ruins the end-file. It is in grayscale and skewed as if would have been printed on bad printer.

20. Save as... SVG = Distortion Export as... SVG = No Distortion (Illustrator 29.0.1)

    I have read a few other posts regarding SVG distortion when saving an illustrator file (.ai). When I choose, Save as... I get distorted objects when reopening the file. It varies from points, but typically will add an extra point in various locations of the path. Also, as a test, I tried to save the original and undistorted illustrator file (.ai) through the Export as... option and the file saved perfectly with no distortion. A simple workaround, however, the bug needs to be fixed.
