1. Dimension tool options won't save

   When using the dimension tool (beta) in the regular Illustrator program (latest update), I can't save my options. I can open the options window and change settings, but clicking "OK" does nothing. I have to cancel out to close the window in order to continue with my work. The tool will be great when it works correctly.

2. Arrowheads preview are missing in the dropdown list for Stroke

   Arrowheads are not displaying correctly.
   Try scrolling, sometimes are disappearing or not shown correctly (wrong arrow).

3. Display refresh upon scaling is pixelated

   Using the zoom tool or Command+ options to enlarge, the image is highly pixelated. And stays that way. I have to go back to Command 0 and start again.

   On top of this, the rainbow is a frequent visitor. While doing the most basic of things like turning a layer off or on, and definitely while enlarging the image.

   This does not happen all the time but usually after the application has been use for a while, like it's tired! Very annoying.

4. Black and White Bitmaps Incorrectly Converted on Import

   Subject: Bug Report: Black and White Bitmaps Incorrectly Converted on Import

   Product: Illustrator (Desktop) Beta

   Version: 28.7 65 (64-bit)

   Operating System: Windows 11

   Steps to Reproduce:

   Open Illustrator and create a new document.
   1. Set the Document Color Mode to either CMYK or RGB.
   2. Import a black and white bitmap image.
   4. Observe the color mode of the imported bitmap.

   Expected Result:
   The black and white bitmap should remain in black and white upon import, regardless of the Document Color Mode. The white areas of the bitmap should remain transparent. We should be able to change the color of the image.

   Actual Result:
   The black and white bitmap is converted to either CMYK or RGB, depending on the Document Color Mode. The areas that are supposed to be transparent become white.

   Additional Information:

   • Black and white bitmaps that were previously imported before the update remain imported correctly and retain their black and white color.
   • This issue started occurring after the latest update to the Illustrator (Desktop) Beta.
   • Included screenshots show black and white bitmaps displaying as RGB and CMYK, respectively.

   Impact:
   1. This bug affects the accuracy and quality of imported black and white bitmaps, disrupting workflows that rely on precise black and white imagery.
   2. Users are unable to assign a color to the black and white bitmap, as it remains in black and white regardless of attempts to change the color.
   3. The white areas of the bitmap, which are supposed to be transparent, become white upon import, affecting the design and composition of artwork.

   Temporary Workarounds:
   a. Use an older version of Illustrator instead of the beta version.
   b. Use the following steps within the beta version:

   1. Select the image.
   2. Go to Object > Rasterize...
   3. Select the following options: Color Model: Bitmap Resolution: (desired Resolution) Background: Transparent

5. Auto Spell Check red wavy underlines on exported raster images

   The red wavy underlines denoting misspellings are still visible in Save for Web raster images. This issue occurs only in beta version 29.0.38 and is not present in the production version 28.7.1

6. 当我在复制对象的同时复制参考线,复制速度会变得异常缓慢,如果单独复制参考线也会变的非常缓慢,但是将参考线转为对象之后,复制速度会非常快.

   之前有一个测试版有解决过这个问题,但是后面更新的所有版本又重新出现了这个问题.这样会让设计的过程变的非常缓慢.

7. Illustrator Beta, made me maddddddd

   Hello,
   I hope someone can help me solve this issue. It’s been about ten days now that every time I open Adobe Illustrator Beta, after working for about two minutes, the program closes and I get kicked out. I can't figure out what the problem is. This doesn't happen with the regular Illustrator, only with the Beta version. It's really frustrating and is bothering me a lot.

8. パスのオフセットが正常に実行されない

   OS Windows10/macOS12（OSに対する依存性は無い）
   Illustrator Ver.26以降（）

   再現方法
   １.ペンツールで添付の参照のような垂線に対して長いハンドルを持つ図形を作成する。
   ２.１の図形を選択した状態でオブジェクト→パス→パスのオフセットを実行。
   ３．曲線部分の一部分のみがオフセットされた異常な図形が生成される。マイナスオフセットの場合、オリジナルの形状がコピーされた状態になる。

   期待する結果
   入力した数値通りのオフセットされた図形が得られる。

   実際の結果
   得られる図形は部分的に処理された異常な状態となる。

   回避方法
   曲線部分にアンカーポイントを追加する

   効果→パス→パスのオフセットを適用した場合の結果も同となります。

10. New Beta version as stable as mikado sticks!

    The newest Illustrator Beta version NOT stable, by not stable I mean it crashes all the time:
    - changing a stroke -> crash
    - moving embedded images -> crash
    - exporting pdfs -> crash
    - opening new files -> won't even do it when you double click it

    Windows 11 Pro 23H2
    Illustrator 29.0
    64GB Ram and fast PC

11. Cursor jumps in enclosed selection mode

    When enclosed mode is enabled (currently with pressing E once while dragging a marquee), the cursor shifts one pixel right and down, like the attached GIF shows (zoomed it, to exaggerate the difference).

    Happens for both Selection and Group Selection tools.

    Why? How did you miss it?
    Can you please position it precisely?

13. Do you guys really have to write the full "Adobe Illustrator 2024" in the Mac menu bar?

    It used to say "Illustrator" in the Mac OS menu bar for decades (briefly "Illustrator CC").

    I have a new MacBook Pro with the camera cutout, and now, because it was changed to a totally unnecessary "Adobe Illustrator 2024," all my menu items are being pushed to the other side of the camera housing, which then covers up my menu bar items. Seriously?

    What was wrong with how it was before? Is it not a priority for the user interface to be space-efficient? It has to tell us the year?

14. Illustrator 28.4.1 SVG Export Changed

    When exporting the SVG with the screenshot Options, the code is generated differently than previous versions. For our company we use SVG files and edit the code and these new svg export files are not working properly once uploaded. I have uninstalled and reverted back to the old version and this has fixed my issue for now.

15. Instead of trying to improve, try to keep it running smoothly on a constant basis

    I have been using this software for over 20 years now and just this year or the past month.. Nothing but problems. Why?. Currently I am dealing with a most recent work file and it opens but the canvas screen is gray nothing more. The layers panel show the layers but nothing. I tried in a different version . nothing. I reinstalled, nothing. This is frustrating to the point of why am I even paying to deal with this and viewing log files of obvious evidence of being on and in my computer when its never been like this before. I always pause the sync becasue I dont want my files to be in the cloud, but everytime I look, its on and my newest files are in the cloud. Im not sure if I like this anymore. The point here is this. People are frustrated because of these problems and some of us are not to savvy when it comes to fixing software but some of us do but none of us have the time to have to deal with it since using the software in the first place is usually for work or school and for money which has to be put into this software to make it work correctly. Please bring it back when the time was when everything was running smoothly instead of getting notification after notification about the **** bill needs to be paid and actually fix these bugs. I have reached out about why on startup i get a pop up window about debugging and or script missing on startup for Indesign or PS when opening ILustrator beta, still even after reinstalling, it continues. And now blank screen. This one is new.

16. Find/Replace Font Preview and Font Name Bug

    When Find/Replace Font menu activated with "Replace With Font From" = "System" multiple versions on the same font are repeated or illegibly named in Beta 28.5.26 on MacBook M1 Max OS-14.4 .

18. Beta keeps freezing

    After selecting several layers and changing the fill color the app freezes and won't allow me to make any other selections, I'm forced to close and reopen the app.
