I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

An error occurred while saving the comment Yes, the problem is back in 2020 (24.0)
An error occurred while saving the comment It seems that the old convention of clicking on the name of the value to highlight the value entry box is lost in many places.
Click on Angle in the Rotate panel, nothing happens (it did in CC 2018 (and the value was automacally selected when opening the dialog)).
Click on Angle in the Move panel, nothing happens (it did in CC 2018).
Click on Shear Angle in the Shear panel, nothing happens (it did in CC 2018 (and the value was automacally selected when opening the dialog).
Click on any value name in the Properties Panel, nothing happens X Y W H for Transform, it does in the Transform panel.An error occurred while saving the comment Another similar change compared to CC2018. In CC 2019, the Rotate Percentage field in the Effect > Transform > Distort & Transform effect is not highlighted when clicking on the name Rotate, like it was in previous versions. Same in the Object > Transform Each dialog.
An error occurred while saving the comment Type R and hit Enter used to open the Rotate dialog with the Value highlighted.
You could immediately start type a new rotation value.
Now you have to use the Tab key 5 times to highlight the value.
This changed with CC2019 -

Hi friends! I have some great news for your today. Rotate View (Canvas) feature is available in Illustrator 25.3 (Desktop) now. Thank you all for your feedback which helped us shape up this feature.

We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 24.0.1

An error occurred while saving the comment None of the template files seem to store a profile.
There is no way to include the profile, since there is no dialog with options when you save the profile.
They all open as untagged RGB or CMYK.
You need to change your default Color Settings to check Missing Profiles > Ask When Opening to get a warning and assign a profile. -
