Unfortunately not solved on my machine, still gives a black rectangle after a long wait.

It is getting worse:
In 28.0 it takes a minute to generate an error message.
In Beta 28.1 87 it takes about 6 minutes to create a black square without warning or error message. An error occurred while saving the comment Ton commented
Unfortunately 28.1 74 looks promising, but it is giving the same black square.

Unfortunately it still does not work on my machine. A 100x100 px with the default hamburger.
It takes longer, create a black square, but the error message is gone.Ton supported this idea ·

I have the feeling that there are a lot of new features introduced that are not properly finished/polished.

I remember this conversation with a high Adobe employee about the gap between classic and the new 3D:
Ultimately we don't want there to be things that only classic can do. These are super important for us to see as we work to close the gap.
It's such a better and more modern foundation - there is a lot of potential upside here. And it will be a superset of what Classic can do.Ton supported this idea ·

Why would that be useful in print and non web documents? Still there in 28.1

It looks like Snap to Pixel is buggy in Illustrator 25.2
It remembers the setting for new documents even when these are based on a profile where it is turned off or on.
It remembers the setting even when Illustrator is closed and opened again.
Which means that if I turn snap to pixel Off and I create a new document based on a Web preset, is stays Off.
If snap to pixel is turned On and I create a new document based on a Print preset is stays On.Ton supported this idea ·

Symbols should remember what colors they use and not convert them to black and named "Deleted Global Color"Ton supported this idea ·

As stated in this request’s status update, the team had to temporarily revoke the 'Search for missing links in this folder' feature to make a way for the missing 'Apply to All' option when relinking, starting with version 29.2.
These two can’t coexist at the moment, and the team intends to come up with a better solution to allow both.

As per the comment, disable the 'Enable Content Aware Defaults' in Preferences > General to turn crop suggestions off

Egor, I still think it is a good request, but it does not get much attention.

But when you disable the 'Enable Content Aware Defaults' in Preferences to solve the crop suggestions, you also disable the Puppet Warp pins and Freeform Gradient points.

Disable the "Enable Content Aware Defaults" in Preferences

As per the comment, the random crop is caused by Enable Content Aware Defaults option in Preferences > General. Turn it off disable auto-suggesting weird crops.
As for the white lines, this a separate problem, now merged into separate report:

The random crop is caused by the Preferences setting "Enable Content Aware Defaults" Turn it off and it stops suggesting weird crops (but it stops more in the app).
The white lines are caused by anti-aliasing and seem to be caused by resolutions other than multiples of 72 ppi like 144, 288ppi. 150 and 300 will most of the time generate white lines. -
