Tiffany, please use File > Package to make a copy of the document with fonts used and send it to sharewithai@adobe.com, so the team can review the problem. Please mention your full specs: OS, GPU; and the link to this report, for tracking it back — http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/50599823
Having a video or at least screenshots would help as well (you can just put them in a comment, so other users can see these and match the behavior with the problem they could have too).

Caden, based on your screenshot, are are isolated inside of a blend, correct?
This bug has been fixed in the latest Beta, meaning it will be pushed into the next general build.

    Hardly...
When unchecking the Suffix, Ai can’t tell if the artboard you chosen IS the same artboard you exported earlier (the file doesn’t specify it within, and the name missing the suffix Ai can compare with the naming scheme). That is, if you first exported an artboard 3 (with no suffix) and then try to export artboard 1 (again, no suffix), Ai gets lost comparing these names for some strange reasons, even though the names match.
This is a bug — for me and you both... I think it should be fixed, so I upvoted it.

It feels like the reason is the same as in this report:
Illustrator won't replace existing PNG file; creates copy and adds "-01" to filename

Seems like it’s working fine in Beta 30.0.0.114!
Please try to test, to make sure the fix is solid to be pushed into the general build.

Not fixed in the Beta as well :( I raised this twice with the team, but it feels like the priority is too low for this one. I’ll do it again, but this is as much I can do. @Karsten, if you know other designers who suffer from this bug, please ask them to upvote this — the threshold is usually 10 votes.

Cant you share a test file, please, just in case? Are you on 29.6? Does it behave the same in Beta 29.7.0.23?

Also... does it look the same when you toggle View > View using CPU command?

What application is assigned to view EMF files in your system? What app tries go get launched when you double-click the exported EMF?
I tried several viewers I have installed, no problems, they all can view it...
Can you reproduce the problem with ANY document at all, including a simplest one created from scratch?

Text mode offers some text-specific hotkeys, and these do replace hotkeys used outside of editing text... and this is basically the only mode in Ai that does it (and the UI doesn’t really specify this well enough in Keyboard Shortcuts today).
This is why the recently added Bold / Italics hotkeys aren’t just Ctrl+B / I, but use Shift also (Ctrl+Shift+B / I) — to keep the Paste in Back / Front available.
I presume you try to make something bold and press Ctrl+B — is my guess correct?

Herbie, do you still have this issue? If you do — can you check if Paste Remembers Layers is disabled in the Layers panel’s dropdown menu?
Also — are you sure that the active artboard is specified as you intended, both when copying and pasting?

Kevin, so you mean the button is not there in Control panel?

Well, it does not mean 'Isolation mode won’t work', right? It still does work if you double-click (if the option to allow it is enabled in Preferences), it still does work if you press an Isolate Selected Object hotkey (which is not assigned by default, but can be in Keyboard Shortcuts). Or does it?

That’s why I asked for the video in the first place, to see what you actually do to enter the mode :)

If you confirm this, this would have to be renamed and moved to a Feature Request section as 'Show Isolate Selected Object button in Control and Properties for groups with live text inside' — and I will vote for that, because it makes sense. Please comment back.

Daté, based on these screenshots I believe this happens when users try to scale or move images (only images or included in a selection).
    Is my guess correct?
There is an existing report about this particular kind of PARM error — does it look the same one to you?

Jang, do you have Clipboard History enabled (Win + V)?
Do you have any other applications or even browser extensions that deal with clipboard?
What options do you have enabled in Preferences > Clipboard Handling?

Vincenzo, please tell more. The problem is not new, happens sometimes for different users, but the cause of it is often different.
Have you installed any utilities or browser extensions recently?
Does it make any difference if you use menu commands for that or hotkeys?
Does it help if you copy several times in a row?
Are you able to copy and paste in other applications?
Does it help if you disable Include SVG Code option in Preferences > Clipboard Handling section?

V, I have experienced this myself many times.
How long did Ai run before you noticed this behaviour? It took me several hours last time.
I copy the text (both with a hotkey and through the menu), check the Edit menu again and sees that all paste commands are grayed out. I struggled for one more hour, trying to finish the task before relaunching (and truing to understand, what can lead to it) and then restarted it, which made the bug vanish — for a while, I believe.
Does it work the same for you?
Thanks for the report, it’s not just me then.

If you do — where and how do you set the units specifically? It matters actually.

This is not how it works in Adobe system.
Changing the resolution value in both Object > Rasterize or in Effect > Document Raster Effects Settings doesn’t not affect the implied resolution of a document — these are about the resolution used to rasterize a selected art and the resolution used to generate raster effects.

The resolution of the document while creating a document does not exists in Illustrator.
While in Photoshop you can specify the resolution, it’s possible because Photoshop basically rasterizes a document to the set parameters before it gets created. Resolution in Photoshop is just a coefficient, and the only true unit there is pixel.
Illustrator deals with points instead — it’s what the PostScript language is built upon.
While pixel IS Point in Adobe universe, the 'point' is a real-world value — 1/72 of an inch. And since all units are defined by each other (like in the real world), size in millimeters equals the exact number of points.

A4 is 210×297 mm. Point is 1/72 of an inch. Inch IS 25.4 mm exactly, according to the International System of Units.
So 210×297 mm IS 595.276×841.89 points (close to). This is what the template is, this is what the 72 PPI means.
Practically it means if you need to create a 2480×3508 pixels (points!) document in Illustrator — use these dimensions specifically. And if you then change units to 'millimeters' — it won’t be an A4. What you can do instead, is to create an A4 document and then export it into a raster image using 300 ppi resolution.
