Hi Everyone, This feature has been available since August 2020 release (version 24.3). Please update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html Thank you for all the feedback.
You can now select multiple layers in Layers panel. Click the bars (they get highlighted blue) if you want to operate layers and not their content (e.g. to drag to reorder) or click their markers to select their content — circle (target ones) or square (selection ones) next to them. There is no real difference which to pick, but if you want to select a range of layers, using Shift, use target markers.

Please share your thoughts on the following:
1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.
2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?
Thanks

Hi,
If you will export artboards in any fractional scale or by specifying height and width you will get correct output.
The best way to not get an extra pixel is keep your artboard coordinates in integers. You can achieve that by changing the reference point of artboard to top left and typing in the nearest integer or do Make Pixel Perfect(Object > Make Pixel Perfect). If size of your artboard is increased please manage that accordingly and export.
Thanks & Regards

Dear ritika patel(Illustrator team)
Thank you for the tip, but I'm afraid totally aware of it. The tool can
1) join not selected objects,
2) it can connect selected while deselecting the joined parts of them - our issue
3) and shall not connect selected objects with not selected. The option 3 will make perfect sense, when option 2 is fixed, because with anything more complex then a rectangle or two lines in test environment, selecting is vital to avoid undesirable connections, since the tool doesn't even has an indication or settings for the brush size when all other tools have (which is half baked experience and a topic for another issue/feature request). Hope you understand the point. Besides it's a question of consistency. There is no other tool existing in Illustrator which for whatever reason drops a selection.
I will remind you, that the tool is dropping parts of selection after each join operation, which is unacceptable/undesirable behavior drastically slowing the workflow and reducing the usability.
Please make sure to fix it in the next release / patch.
Regards

we need it fixed. For example in a flowing way:
Spliting "Zoom" and "Zoom to selection" shortcuts. Example: Zoom in - Industry standard cmd/ctrl + Zoom to selection cmd/ctrl option/alt + or something you personally can change in shortcuts section of the main menu.
Adding a checkbox in preferences for disabling/enabling of the Zoom to selection.Valerii Mamedov supported this idea ·

Check the symbol palette and swatches palettes, remove anything which is not used in the file.
Please let me know if it helps.
