    We have released the support for Gradient swatches in CC library with our latest release - v29.3

    You can select the gradient swatch in swatches panel and add it to CC Library through the button on the bottom bar in the panel. You can also select any object which has gradient applied and add that gradient to CC Library through Add Elements from the Libraries panel and choose Fill Gradient from the drop-down menu.

    Please update to this version from your Creative Cloud Desktop application and let us know your feedback.

  3. Select more than one layer at once

    You can now select multiple layers in Layers panel. Click the bars (they get highlighted blue) if you want to operate layers and not their content (e.g. to drag to reorder) or click their markers to select their content — circle (target ones) or square (selection ones) next to them. There is no real difference which to pick, but if you want to select a range of layers, using Shift, use target markers.

    Please share your thoughts on the following:

    1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.

    2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?

    Check the symbol palette and swatches palettes, remove anything which is not used in the file.

    This issue is probably happening because the artboard dimensions are not appropriate for raster export (i.e. are in decimals).
    If you make x and y values as the whole numbers in the transform panel (not in decimal), then the extra pixels will not be added to the exported image.

    That is the workaround, and it’s reported that it’s not always the case.

    At the same time — Ai knows the size of artboards to be exported and yet it does not deliver the set sizes, which is not fair. The team is going to rethink the algorithm.

    Dear ritika patel(Illustrator team)

    Thank you for the tip, but I'm afraid totally aware of it. The tool can

    1) join not selected objects,
    2) it can connect selected while deselecting the joined parts of them - our issue
    3) and shall not connect selected objects with not selected.

    The option 3 will make perfect sense, when option 2 is fixed, because with anything more complex then a rectangle or two lines in test environment, selecting is vital to avoid undesirable connections, since the tool doesn't even has an indication or settings for the brush size when all other tools have (which is half baked experience and a topic for another issue/feature request). Hope you understand the point. Besides it's a question of consistency. There is no other tool existing in Illustrator which for whatever reason drops a selection.

    I will remind you, that the tool is dropping parts of selection after each join operation, which is unacceptable/undesirable behavior drastically slowing the workflow and reducing the usability.

    Please make sure to fix it in the next release / patch.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    we need it fixed. For example in a flowing way:

    Spliting "Zoom" and "Zoom to selection" shortcuts. Example: Zoom in - Industry standard cmd/ctrl + Zoom to selection cmd/ctrl option/alt + or something you personally can change in shortcuts section of the main menu.
    Adding a checkbox in preferences for disabling/enabling of the Zoom to selection.
