I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.3.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

Here is a video of me trying to select a line using 24.1.2 with a selection tolerance of 20.
An error occurred while saving the comment Max Hancock commented
I installed 24.1.2 beta. I set the tolerance to 20. I'm still having this problem. I have to select exactly the line exactly 1 or 2 pixels in order to select and drag it. So, it's not fixed.

Using 24.1. and it is still very hard to select a line using a Retina display and Wacom. There is no pixel tolerance at all. You need to select exactly 1 pixel to the line to select or drag it. This is especially hard to do on lines larger than 1 point.

Using Illustrator 23.0.1 and this is still broken! I need to zoom in so close to select and move anything that isn't a big solid shape.

With this latest version, when I flip a bitmap image using the reflect tool, the bounding box is messed up, showing a selection elongated, way off the page.

The issue is resolved. It could be a matter of perception, but now it seems to be a bit slower than before, especially with Live Pain tools.

Hi,
If you want to switch the older control panel you can do that in 2 ways:
1. Go to Window > Control and the control panel will be shown.
2. Go to Workspaces and switch to Essential Classic, this will also show the Control panel on the top. Thanks & Regards

I really miss the one that went across the top instead. However, if you save me a step, the I accept the new properties panel, but most of the time it doesn't. Most options are actually minimized and I have to click an additional button to get at it. In my mind, this is a step backwards. Why have a button that says Tool Options when you could just show the options? Why isn't there an expand button when I choose a blending group? Silly things like that should be present there. Why do I still have to go digging for the option to turn off hyphenation whenI have type selected. The properties panel is nearly empty for most tools I choose, when it could have many options there at our fingertips. I just don't get it.

I'm using Illustrator 24.3 (Mac) and viewing at 100% scale is wrong. It's double what it should be. This is a bug unless there's a new viewing setting I don't know about.
