Starting with Beta 29.9.0.36 it’s now possible to lock the objects on artboard basis from the Artboards panel, using a new Lock column, similar to one the Layers panel has.
How it works:
- In the Artboards panel, select one or more artboards and click Lock.
- All objects on those artboards lock automatically.
- To edit a specific object, simply unlock it from the Layers panel.
Give it a try and let us know what you think. Your feedback helps the team to shape what comes next.

This is an idea: I would like to be able to dynamically adjust offset value by sliding the mouse cursor on either side of the path / shape, and eventually snap it to a existing anchor point, for example.

The issue seems to be fixed in the latest version of Illustrator.
Please try to test it and reply back if it works as expected for you.

Thanks Tim, I know. I'm saying it should work in the tab panel too!

Well yes, using the Paragraph panel works. It's always worked.
There are always workarounds (setting left indent and first line indent back to 0 works eg), but they take time and more clicks.
I was reporting the bug because it should also work in the tab panel.

It's OK on Mac (OSX 10.13.6, Illustrator 22.1).

Or to match a symbol's rotation (only) or scale (only) to another's.
(copy-paste-replace will match both)

The choice of the type of a symbol is sticky in the latest version of Illustrator. If a user toggles it to Static, it remains Static when another symbol is created — and vice versa.

OK.. my bad I think. I hadn't seen the "Snapping Tolerance" option on the Smart Guides Preference panel.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

OK. Seems like my guides were locked (in the menu, not in the layers).
I wonder why this happened, as I never lock my guides (except in the layers).

Illustrator CC 2018, Windows 10
For me it's the same at any zoom-level. I can't select or move guides at all. I can only create them.

It works if not all sub-Groups are selected. But not all.

Hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
I am not able to reproduce the issue on my side and behavior is similar to Illustrator CC 2017 version. If you think behavior is changed in Illustrator CC 2018 kindly share a small video of Illustrator CC 2017 behavior and Illustrator CC 2018 behavior at sharewithai@adobe.com so I can further investigate it.
Please do mention the link of this thread so we can identify you

Illustrator CC 2018
Windows 10I think I have the same bug, it does that when I drag a symbol to my page (you can see the print margin jump back from A3 to A4).
Illustrator 22.1 on Mac OS 10.13.6.
The anchor points are generally visible for all paths, except for two of them (unless I isolate each path).
I don't understand why. They are all single shapes, not groups. They seem to have exactly the same properties too.
