Hi ,
The bug will be fixed when PS is upgraded to the latest version 22.3.1 . Kindly update PS to 22.3.1 and Bridge to the latest version. If the issue still happens, kindly reset your Settings in both PS and Bridge.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.3.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

I am working on an MacBook Pro (15 Zoll, 2016) with MacOS Sierra (10.12.6) and all prompt windows (e.g. the one appearing when opening a file an there are some missing images) are showing up on the internal display instead of an external monitor connected to the usb-c port.
I have configured my Mac to use the external display as primary display (by dragging the menu bar to the external display, see https://support.apple.com/en-vn/HT202351).
All other apps respect this setting, e.g. also Adobe Photoshop.
It's a shame that such an essential and common feature has still not been implemented.
