Hi ,
The bug will be fixed when PS is upgraded to the latest version 22.3.1 . Kindly update PS to 22.3.1 and Bridge to the latest version. If the issue still happens, kindly reset your Settings in both PS and Bridge.
Regards,
Aishwarya G GadodiaAn error occurred while saving the comment cris black commentedThis color issue altogether stinks, but the worst part is that even after changing the color setting in a document, the next time you open it, it doesn't retain the settings you gave it. And on Friday I was working in a document, stopped and went to Excel and my email, back to the document and the setting had changed. All my blues were purple. And I had not even closed Illustrator.
So what I'm saying here to the Adobe engineering team is that the issue happens randomly with the program open too. This is very disheartening because it truly means we cannot count on our monitors at all for color information at this point.
Adobe, please ask your engineering team to put this on at the top of the list for fixes. The only thing that could possibly be worse at this point is everything in the document showing up in grayscale even when we add color value to it.

An error occurred while saving the comment cris black commentedYES! This is terrible in any program ... but especially a graphic program!
To have colors changing and not even displaying anywhere close to what they actually are makes it next to impossible to do design work.cris black supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment cris black commentedIt would be great if the workspace, preferences and open fonts (currently available in Illustrator) that are setup and I'm using on my work computer could be the same when working on my laptop at home.
I am such a creature of habit that I find myself wasting time looking around for a panel, tool, etc. that I'm used to having in a certain location; and when scrolling through my fonts, having the same list open and available between computers. That would be heaven!

The most recent version finally has the Object > Distribute menu added.
Now both Align and Distribute commands can be accessed via menu and have assigned keyboards shortcuts to them.
The order of the commands though seemingly matches the one the panel has: horizontal first for Align and vertical first for Distribute. If you find this odd and want to change it — vote here: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/45855823-sync-the-order-of-align-and-distribute-menu-comman
Also, Align To and Distribute Spacing commands are still missing in top menus, so please keep voting here to make them added too.

Hi Everyone,
This has been completed, and has available since June 2020 release (version 24.2)
Please go to Illustrator preferences > General > and select “Show/Hide Rulers” (refer attached screenshot). After checking this, if you hit ‘Show Rulers (Ctrl/Cmd + R)’, then the rulers will appear in every document (new and old), even after relaunching Illustrator.
Please update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback.
An error occurred while saving the comment cris black commented@Jeremy Jessup -- They added/fixed it in this latest update. Under Illustrator preferences, in the left column of the list, the 4th option down is "Show/Hide Rulers". If this is checked, the rulers show in every document (new and old) that you open. If it's not checked, no rulers.
I tried it many times, on old documents, new documents. Quit Illustrator and reopened and tried it again. Restarted my computer and tried again. Rulers showed every time!
I am so happy!!! Been waiting for this for a long long LONG time. Thank you Varun Sharma for finally understanding what we have all been asking for ... and getting it done for us!
An error occurred while saving the comment cris black commentedI'm amazed that this issue has not beed completed yet has been requested over and over ... for years. One of the requests goes back to 2017 ... Somehow we need you to understand what we are looking for.
Yes, Illustrator 2020 has a box in the Preferences menu that can be checked which will make the rulers visible AFTER they have been turned on -- but that has to be done EVERY SINGLE time the program is restarted. As soon as the user Quits the program, the rulers must be turned on again upon the next opening.
You're halfway there ...
What your users are looking for and have been requesting over and over is simply this:
The option in the Preferences menu should be "Always Show Rulers"
• If clicked, the rulers open by default every single time Illustrator opens -- unless the user turns them off.
• If not clicked, the rulers do not show in any document when Illustrator is opened -- unless the user turns them on".While I realize that this seems like a little thing in the big picture of what the program does, it is obviously important or it would not be requested over and over.
Please please please listen to your users and fix this for us.
An error occurred while saving the comment cris black commentedAgreed. This should have been a feature back in version 4 or 5 at the latest. It could be a preference you check in the general preferences tab along with "scale lines" and everyday things like that!

An error occurred while saving the comment cris black commentedIt would be great if there was a way we could turn system fonts off so they don't show up in the list.
Why is this valuable? Because currently I have 63 Noto *** fonts listed in my fonts -- there are others in that list too (Apple Braille) that we cannot remove from our system font library. Every time we do a visual search for a font to use, we have to go through these all of these useless fonts too. This would be a great option for all of your programs -- not just Illustrator. Same issue in Photoshop and InDesign.

An error occurred while saving the comment cris black commentedYES! I thought I was losing my mind the first day of this. But it continues to happen. Very frustrating and difficult to complete work in a timely manner with all the bugs in the latest version of Illustrator. I'm not 100% sure but it seems to be much worse and buggier since the latest update.

Would love some help in figuring out how to fix this.

I cannot figure out what is going on with Illustrator (or user error?) ...
If I change a spot color in a design, (ie: Pantone 200 to 202), that unused color will not permanently delete. It goes away for a second and then reappears.
Also, earlier today I did a design and created two of my own "spot" colors to represent a shirt color and white ink. Now every time I open a NEW document, those two colors are added to my swatches pallet and I cannot get rid of them.
While this doesn't seem like a big deal, when it comes to printing films for a spot color job, it runs unnecessary film for each of the spot colors in the swatch pallet. And I just really like the color pallet all cleaned up when I finish a job. That way if it's opened/revised at a later date, the wrong color is not picked. Especially with logo designs where I am sending files to the customer that they will provide to other suppliers.
