Thanks for reporting this issue. Illustrator team really appreciate this.
We have fixed this bug in our Beta Builds available on CCD. Please try and provide your feedback.
The fix will be pushed in the next stable release.
The current workaround is to disable Missing Glyph Protection option in Preferences > Type.
Thanks and regards

An error occurred while saving the comment Ori Manor commentedIt's automatic when a new swatch is created but if I change the document color profile from RGB to CMYK for example, the swatches remain with their RGB values in the name, even after they are changed to CMYK

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.1.2 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Thanks :)An error occurred while saving the comment Ori Manor commentedThank you Ankit for your update.
Is this release stable enough to work with? I've never used beta releases.
Should I wait to the formal release?Ori Manor supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Ori Manor commentedAfter working for a while just fine (can be a hour or more), all of a sudden Illustrator is stalling and behave very strange. The menu drop downs appear black, and only with mouse over some items show up.
The print screen function doesn't work when that happens, that's why I had to take a picture of my screen with my phone (see attached file).I'm using CC2019 on windows 10 with Astute graphics plugins
This is a new issue with my application. Up until about a month ago, it worked fine with the same settings

Hi,
The attached screenshot displays the FILL color underneath the CHARACTERS in the APPEARANCE panel therefore any change applied to the FILL will not be displayed, to display it correctly please move the FILL color row on top of the CHARACTER row (Click & Drag) in the Appearance panel.
Hope this helps to resolve this issue.
With Best Regards,

Illustrator TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment Ori Manor commentedOK, I see what you mean, but why does it happen?
It never happened before the last CC 2019 update, and even now, when I tried to quit Illustrator, reopen and coloring the text, I still have the same problem. As if this is the default... and this is just frustrating.

It seems like the problem is not about the bounding box...
If you don’t see anchors selected, please check if you have View > Show Edges enabled. It's easy to toggle it with Cmd/Ctrl + H, and it’s a common mishap.
If that’s the thing for you (or not) — please comment back.
As for the bounding box specifically (the frame with 8 scale/rotations markers) — it never shows up when using the Direct Selection tool, and never was, and should not.
If you need to scale or rotate a partial selection of anchors, use Free Transform or Rotate or Scale tools instead.
