We have rolled out a release yesterday which gives the capability to turn this off through a 'Don't Show Again' option available in the popup dialog.

An error occurred while saving the comment i was in a meeting with Saurav Agrawal and it feels like they are only into adding new features. they only want to try to hipe sales and relay do not care about there current users. i have been using adobe since i was 12 and now have a broken heart.
with in my ranks they lost 140 people from using anything adobe. i am one of a fiew left. and there not lissening. when they lost pantone they shot there own foot. and now they have over $60k in equipment they can no longer use with adobe. they jumpted to afanity designer and now pay for pantone pro. but at the end of the year are going to stop using pantone. they have there own color system and no longer will need pantone. the volume of clients that need to pantone match are limited so they will just mail samples and the clients will have to choose. and now with not being able to use a simple tablet or my phone to open a document and make some edits or start creating and finish on my desktop is now a hertal from what it was 5 years agoAn error occurred while saving the comment they had it working well with draw. i feel adobe will only Shill out to the ones they can trick into spending more money. apple is twice the price over any android tablet. same with the computers. adobe is loosing to competitive company's that are already providing

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

An error occurred while saving the comment @judy you can download them here and if you need to get the lic they sell you it at the current price https://www.hotdoor.com/Download?support i have used them for hears. its just i want only the dimension tool and not the rest. currently i made a 9slize with everything i need in it and than just unlink and edit the text. but the problem with this is if i change the object i need to take all the steps again. if illustrator had the tool it would even be better if it auto updated but at lease have it so i can redraw the measurement faster.

be sure to backup any work you open in the beta apps (do not over wright original content) i have experienced a loss when doing that.An error occurred while saving the comment @Egor please work on performance over features. also talk to the team about cleaning up user voice. Items that have little or less than 1k votes are getting completed over items that have 3k+ votes?
Performance is a problems that need to be fixed over more features.

Just played with the BETA. that would work just would need an update tool but resetting the would not be that big of a deal. also should match the documents ruler so when i change dimensions from PX to IN it will update all the measurements.An error occurred while saving the comment David: If only cad tools would be cheaper so everyone could afford it when i send them AI documents. or allow for them to edit them even if they do not have cad tools.
it also does not work on the cloud share live edit. I would hope adobe would make simple measurement tools to not fridge on cad tools. or maybe cad tools offer a smaller package allowing single tools like astute. I would be open to 5-10 a month but 20 a month is too high for me. and all i need is measurement tools. i have created my own with 9slice and graphic styles and all i need to do is edit the number, but that is still a one by one option.An error occurred while saving the comment i asked for Astute to create something basic like this.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused to you due to this issue and getting back to you this late.
We are unable to reproduce this issue in house.
Can you help the Illustrator team to isolate this issue further so that we can nail this down?
If yes, then please let me know the following:
1) Is this Issue still happening on your machine in the Latest version 23.0.3 ?
2) If yes , Kindly follow the steps mentioned on the Kb Article "https://helpx.adobe.com/in/fonts/kb/troubleshoot-font-activation.htmlIf they don’t solve the problem, collect the logs as per instruction in the troubleshooting page and email to fontsupport@adobe.com and support@typekit.com .

go back to how it was just highlited yellow and tagged in the foooter of the document. this is slowing me down. -

An error occurred while saving the comment there should be an option to convert them at least once. and let you know they were converted but there would be not option to go back to pantone's full catalog.
i understand the limits but it was up to adobe to provide a transmission.UPDATE: its adobe's fault .... now $5k + in equipment now no longer usable with any adobe software. but corel and afinity are all ok.

Starting from the February 2024 release, version 28.3, this option is no longer enabled by default for new documents. If you had hyphenation enabled in an existing document, Ai will respect this.

I was on the phone with an adobe rep for illustrator and he did not seam to care about my complaints. He did not even know about user voice. I gave him a list of problems Him:"ill bring these complaints to my team". Me:"please let me know what you have". him"reading his list..." me"wow you skipped over 5 items that are the most important. please use user voice to take what is the most needed." him:"whats user voice" me facepalming. "the app adobe setup to take bugs and user requests". so my verdict of adobe is they no linger care. or hire people that do not do there jobs. -

It is not as straightforward as it may sound :) We have been working to take advantage of threads and other hardware such as GPU/Video RAM in places where it can make a higher impact. We are prioritizing areas that are slow instead of making a generic change and destabilizing the product. Product stability is the top priority for us and we have been consistently trying to improve it. We want to move with caution and make changes without compromising on the quality. Hope this helps.
An error occurred while saving the comment Has i pointed out in a call with them back in 2018. at least have a core dedicated per project file. this way if i open more than one file it will not crash me when just doing a task has simple has copy and past. yes i have that experience still to this day. opening more than one file or having a menu brochure that has more than 600+ lines of text and Ai crashes form a copy and past. More ram helps but having Multi core support will be the best fix.
An error occurred while saving the comment i spoke with a rep from Photoshop and bridge and was supost to get a call about illustrator. i feel adobe dev teams are not lessening to there clients anymore. my team of 56 is now only 2 using illustrator the rest use corel. or inkscape. (most is just basic color changes or turning on and off layers.) but still that is a loss of 54 users. PLEASE ILLUSTRATOR TEAM FIX THIS

An error occurred while saving the comment Have in the menu 'don't scale font' or and font appearance. This way if I change the size of the menu I still have control over the font in the font appearance options.

In CC 2019 (latest update 23.0.1), at 100% Zoom 1inch artwork would display at 1inch in physical (Print) size, on any display. If this doesn’t work right for screen design workflows, please use the checkbox Preferences > General > Display Print Size at 100% Zoom, to turn off the feature. Currently this feature works only on primary display, and there are plans of extending this to other attached displays.

Hi Everyone, This feature was shipped in Illustrator 2020 version. Please go to Preferences>Selection & Anchor Display > and check ‘Select and unlock objects on canvas’. Enabling this preference will display a lock icon when you select the locked object.
also would like to stop the prompt popups when opening a document. i would rather just have a bottom bar with the alerts on what is missing or what fonts are not working.
its stopping me form opening 10+ documents at a time i need to click about 20 times for missing font and image links.
i would like a pro-mode with the option of just getting a bottom bar not requiring me to click anything and just open the document.
