An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedPerformance on the fully spec'd out 2019 Macbook Pro is terrible.
Since Illustrator is the primary Adobe program with compatability with Animate and After Effects, we use it to create storyboards for animating. However, as soon as a couple of images are added the whole thing bogs down.
Illustrator needs image quality scaling like InDesign (Typical, High Quality etc)

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedSnapping is fundamentally broken in Illustrator. I see this behaviour with every second 'snap' action. What's the purpose of a 'snap tolerance'? The object is either snapping or it isn't.

Hi Everyone, thanks for your comments. Re-opening it based on the feedback.
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedThe snapping in Illustrator is just generally bad. I always have to go through every single artboard and fix up the edges, even if Illustrator is telling me that my objects are snapping to the edge.

Darleen, no it doesn't!
Ran a test to show how AI doesn't relink. See attached video.
I try and avoid using Illustrator for this reason, but unfortunately it's the only Adobe vector based program that plays nice with After Effects and Animate.. if I could get away with using InDesign in conjunction with both of these, I'd do it in a heart beat.
