Available in 30.8.54 Beta build.
Choose 'Auto find missing links from this folder' in the relink dialog's Replace dropdown when relinking a missing image. Illustrator scans the document and silently relinks every other missing link whose file name matches a file in the same folder, including all instances of the same image.

Darleen, no it doesn't!
Ran a test to show how AI doesn't relink. See attached video.I try and avoid using Illustrator for this reason, but unfortunately it's the only Adobe vector based program that plays nice with After Effects and Animate.. if I could get away with using InDesign in conjunction with both of these, I'd do it in a heart beat.

Illustrator doesn't even relink multiple instances of the same file automatically (screenshot attached)

Certain font styles are missing, like Montserrat Bold, Arial Bold, Myriad Condensed, etc.

Performance on the fully spec'd out 2019 Macbook Pro is terrible.
Since Illustrator is the primary Adobe program with compatability with Animate and After Effects, we use it to create storyboards for animating. However, as soon as a couple of images are added the whole thing bogs down.
Illustrator needs image quality scaling like InDesign (Typical, High Quality etc)

Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

Snapping is fundamentally broken in Illustrator. I see this behaviour with every second 'snap' action.

Yep. Snapping is still totally broken in Illustrator.

The snapping in Illustrator is just generally bad. I always have to go through every single artboard and fix up the edges, even if Illustrator is telling me that my objects are snapping to the edge.

Export for Screens isn't suitable for anything web related because it can't export small file size JPGs, and also doesn't have any customisable compression options nor the ability to create custom presets...
