Illustrator takes 2 second to select objets when clicked then moves it like you were pressing the click to move objects

Add a triangle to the shapes tool apart from the star.
I'd LOVE if there was a triangle tool other than using the star tool to make it easier and quicker. I make a lot of signs with arrows and it'd be SO nice. THX!

Allow to close Perspective Grid widget with any tool active, not only with Perspective Tools
MANY users don’t know how to disable Perspective Grid.
They don’t know about the View > Perspective Grid > Hide Grid menu command, and don’t even try to search for it, because they think that little 'x' is the only way to hide it...
...but that button only works when you have Perspective Grid Tool or Perspective Selection Tool picked, and does nothing when you have some other tool chosen.
The button never looks deactivated and lie to us about being clickable.
This modality makes zero sense.

白色底的文档导出缺少边界 / A way to export an image with canvas color visible when Use Artboard option is disabled
当画板为白色底时，右键“导出所选项目”，导出的文件没有边界，无法分辨单个项目。
目前的解决方法是在画板上添加一个有描边的矩形，但是当有多个画板时这个方法会比较麻烦。另外一种方法是每个画板单独导出一张图片，再整合到一个文档里，这样也会增加很多工作量。希望团队能有更好的方案。
使用场景举例：当给客户提案或预览整体效果时，需要将多个画板同时导出到一个文件（png或jpg），这时如果画板底色为白色，就无法分辨边界。2 votes -

Calculate surface area with Dimension tool
With the last update, you brought the possibility of customizing the scale in the dimension tools, thank you for that. Would it be possible to obtain a new tool for calculating the surface area in m², by selecting any closed shape?

"Apply to All" checkbox or "Replace All" button are missing AGAIN
Apply to All option for missing/replacing links is missing again in version 28.5. Now instead of being able to click that and replace all links I know have to do the relink step up to 30 times every print file.
45 votesBeta 29.1.0.2 introduces a new way to handle missing links and replacing them.
'Apply to all' option is removed and 'Ignore' button is split into 'Ignore' and 'Ignore All' — like it used to be at some point.
Hitting 'Replace' button now opens Place dialog with three options, to replace:
- Current instance of the link
- All instances of the link
- All Missing Links from this Folder
This dialog can also be called with Relink command from the Links panel’s flyout menu.
Please test it and see if the functionality it now offers fits your expectations.

Modern 3D effects need more control over mapping
Map art lacks of control. I can't find a right way to place my art along the shape I've created. Previous versions let us place graphics, symbols, along the created shape and play around to find the desired way to make the art. Please add more graphic placement controls for symbols or graphics in 3D shapes.

リンクファイルを見つける際の「すべてに適用」を復活させてほしい
Ver25にアップデートしたところ、リンクファイルを見つける警告において「すべてに適用」のチェックができなくなっているようです。
これがないと、全リンクファイルを何百点あろうがひとつづつ選択しなおさないとなりません。
復活しない限り、ヴァージョンアップは出来ません。1 vote -
Fix on Crop Mark Position in Save as PDF
If I select the color bar and page information in Marks and Bleeds, the position of the crop mark will be shifted slightly above the center of the page, so it would be helpful if you could position it at the center of the page.
Because the distance of the misalignment is so small, it is often overlooked, and when ordering prints online, it is inconvenient because you have to manually adjust the position or remove the color bar and page information before saving the file.2 votes -

Align objects according to order of selection. Simple. No more moving objects forward or back just to align correctly. It is so stupid and I'm sick of it!

A point type frame should ignore spaces on the right, just like an area type.
Right spaces should be ignored by text align.

Menu and Tool UI text, sliders, buttons and fields should be easier to click. larger clickable area around each tool options.
The clickable area of many UI elements are smaller than they appear making the process tedious an needlessly taxing.
In my pic my cursor is clearly inside the opacity field but I cannot yet activate it. As it is currently design, I need to be unnecessarily precise. Makes no sense.
The entire UI could stay the same size but clickable areas should become larger.
Text based buttons like opacity should be treaded like buttons with a large clickable area (opacity in a box with ample padding).There would only be improvements to the UX, no downsides.

Actual Status Bar instead of Spinning Beach Ball
When working with larger images or complex art I can imagine that Illustrator or macOS need caching or need to write temp files somewhere.
I work in the sign business so we work with very large images frequently, for car wraps or large wall art for instance.
Often the infamous Spinning Beach Ball appears when moving or copying fairly large images. This can take several minutes.
It would be nice to have an actual status bar instead of the Spinng Beach Ball so that we can see what Illustrator is actually doing and how long it would take to finish…

Parallel line extension
Currently the line extension smart guide only works for single points. Would love to be able to extend multiple points that are parallel, or even lines that are not parallel but would still snap to their own extension angle.

Need 'Allow Tool Recording ' feauture in Illustrator's Action Panel
I'm a graphic designer, digital artist, and traditional painter with over 20 years of experience. As a digital artist and painter, I would like to record my workflow within Illustrator with targeted layers, similar to how Rebelle records only top layers. I would greatly appreciate it if you could implement the tool recording and workflow recording options in Illustrator specifically for particular targeted layers or for all the layers in a project. Embed as attachment a DXF version of the illustration in the Export as PDF option
Most often when designing files for logo or marquing tools we need to export a viewable PDF version and e CAD file as DXF.
In order to keep them synced, it's convenient to attach the DXF as an attachment in the PDF.Could it be possible to impement this workflow in Illustrator? either in the "Export PDF" option or via a script/action command?
