  1. Add Find/Replace Color feature from InDesign

    I would love to use the Find/Replace feature for color just as it is now used in InDesign. Changing a color that isn't global is tedious when you have many fills, strokes, patterns and gradients using the same swatch. Thank you.

  2. Share for Review extra functions

    Hi,

    I'm really thankful for this review function but there are a couple of things I would like to see in the future. Hopefully, some are already in progress!

    1. Ability to select which artboards to share

    2. Show the size of the artboard (I prepare 6 artboards at a go, clients do not know what size are they looking at)

    3. Have a pretty URL that does not look like... https://assets.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:AP:46b3c72e-e17c-42b7-2da9-08fc21a30b91

    4. A caption area for each artboard so that I can put down some notes directly on the Illustrator app.

  3. Save the Export Path to with Export for Screens Presets

    Please, SAVE the "Export To:" path with the Export Preset.

    I don't want to set my Export Path in Export for Screen every f*ing time I restart Illustrator.

    I was hoping that Export Presets would have fixed this annoyance, but it didn't help at all.

    It amazes me how impossible it seems for Adobe to get these simple things work like they should.

  4. 3Dオブジェクトの座標や回転を維持した書き出し

    3dモデルを書き出す際、オブジェクトの座標や回転を維持した状態で書き出せるようにして欲しい。
    座標や回転を維持して書き出せれば、3dを使ったモーションポスターなどの制作などにとても役立ちます。

  5. Add search to the History panel

    With 100 or more states showing in the panel, it would be helpful to have a search field. Type in Graphic styles, merge, drop shadow, or whatever the label is to find it. Not sure if it's possible to highlight all of the matches, like all states labeled graphic style - or if there would be an arrow button to let you page through all graphic style states it finds.

  6. Replace Image With Symbol

    I would like to select any number of images on my document and replace them with a symbol. I would like the symbol to be in the exact same location as the images were and be the exact same size (if the image is clipped by a clipping mask, I would like the symbol to be the size of the clipping mask). I would like the option for the symbol's proportions to be 1) retained and match the height of the images being replaced (in case the image proportions are different), 2) retained and match the width of the images…

  7. A favorite fonts floating palette

    While I’m designing let’s say a poster, I an using 4 fonts,, would like to be able to access those 4 fonts anytime, instead of going to fonts, or characters , having a floating pallet so I can see the fonts and seek them immediately.
    Just like when you pull a pallets out from the tools pallet.

  8. Scale arrowheads to stroke weight

    So, my great idea request is to have the arrowheads scale but maintain their stroke width. It seems the arrow heads are not stroked paths, so maybe this is not possible? But it being 2023, I would like to think it is possible.

    Without too much ranting, it's amazing that you would want to scale arrow heads to be a different width to the stroke. It's so uglehy.

    Screenshots attached showing how I see this amazing update would work and saving me time of having to make my own hacked arrow heads to do the job of this expensive software.

  9. Give Pattern swatch an indicator icon in the Swatches panel

    An often made mistake is that users drag a rectangle, filled with a color to the swatches panel, thinking that they added a new color swatch. In reality they created a pattern. Looking at the Swatches panel it is sometimes difficult to see the difference. In the attached example it is impossible to see which of the two green swatches is a color swatch or a pattern swatch.   10. Package/collect multiple illustrator files at once for sending to printers like "Art Files 3" does.

    We currently use Art Files 3 to package multiple ai files at once without having to individually open the illustrator files. With the new Illustrator 2023, Art Files 3 is no longer compatible and they also seem to be out of business. We send anywhere from 3-20 files at once on a regular basis. Working with multiple artboards in one file is not an option. We need to find a subsitute app or a solution that can package miltiple files, fonts and images (both embedded and linked) all at once like Art Files.. We can't use the AI package feature…

  11. notification when links won't update because of locked layers

    It would be great if I could get a notification when links don't update because they're on a locked layer. I keep clicking on the update button in the links palette and I think something's wrong, when it's operator error.

    Voice Over Accessibility UX - When the cursor hovers over Tool Tips and Labels etc, speak the text. This is a basic web accessibility feature not included in CC suite. I have used the Adobe software for more than 20 years but with macular degeneration it is difficult for me to read small texts. Tell your colleagues at PhotoShop and InDesign about this.

  15. Stop creating extra anchors

    Using tools like the join tool, shaper tool and some pathfinder tools, creates more anchors than were originally in the elements that are being joined using the tools mentioned. This degrades my lines and sometimes turns corner anchors into curved or moves the anchors all together when creating more. I have spent a lot of time having to go back and fix these issues. Most of the time you can't see it until well after you have saved and have to rely keeping extra backups of your work to ensure you aren't losing details. Extra anchors creates more data to…

  16. Enable Symbols Options edit in multi selections

    Symbol option changes are made per symbol only, please enable when multiple symbols are selected. ie. I have 10 dynamic symbols that I want to change to static symbols, it currently has to be done one-by-one.

  17. Copy Live Type into Indesign in Preserving text boxes

    I work on graphic novels where the type layers are set in PS (ugh)
    Brought into Illustrator as editable text. Would love to be able to copy and paste the entire page as editable formatted text into InDesign,
    Currently it pastes as outlines.

  18. Auto fit text in text frame

    It would be really useful if Illustrator could autofit text within set parameters, similar to InDesign. This would minimize over matter that often occurs when importing text, especially when using the variable links.
    I mean resize the text to fit the text frame to avoid over matter and get everything in. Text frame size should not change.

  19. Find and Replace text panel not closing after every replacement

    When you need to replace multiple text in illustrator right now you need to copy the text go to Edit - Find and replace, paste your text, replace it, and then click done which results to closing the window.

    So you must reopen the window every time for the next replacement.

    You can have this option as it is in InDesign where you can copy and paste text while the window is open and the window stays open after you done replacing. Also it will be more convenient to be able to add the panel at the dock.

  20. 遠近グリッドツールのユーザー定義の削除をできるようにして欲しい

    右クリックメニューにもダイアログボックスにも「削除」がないため、永遠にユーザー定義した過去の遠近グリッドが残ってしまう。
