This function is long overdue and I am loving it. However, as someone who uses it multiple times a day, every day, I think there are a couple of things I think could make it better.
1. The ability to group files together in the same link.
I'm not a fan of "writing over" an existing file so that I can click on "update content". That is ok for small changes, but when the client is asking for significant updates/changes, I prefer to save a new file named "rev 1" or something similar. This then requires me to get a whole new link for them. It would be nice to not have to do this.
2. When I update a file, it would be cool if the viewer was automatically notified instead of me having to send another email to them with the new link (or notification that it's ready) each time. Maybe this would require the capability of emailing direct from Illustrator in order for it to work but I'm not sure. I have also tried adding the new link to the comments or just telling the client in the comments that it's ready but that doesnt seem to notify them. Which brings me to my next point.
3. When I mark a comment as "resolved" or I comment back, the client is not notified of such actions. It would be great if they got the emails the same way I do. I have clients who are both signed in a s guests and have Adobe accounts who never received notifications from me.
4. The ability to see previous versions.
I have used other proofing software that allows the viewer to be able to see a previous version and compare it to the new version. That would be super handy.
5. A space to write notes. Be that about size, colours, etc... Each artboard should have a space.I realize that this is asking a lot of a program that is currently in beta. However, if adobe is trying to offer more to their clients, these things would be quite helpful.

It would be great to have more control of the .jpg compression settings in "Export for Screens"
It would be great is more granular control of the .jpg compression settings. Right now we can only export at 100, 80, 50 and 20. We find that 60% compression is often the sweet spot between size and quality. Having a user adjustable slider or more presets would be great. It is another reason why we are still using the legacy export.

Menu bar item “Duplicate with New Document”
The History panel menu has a highly useful feature called “New Document.” As it is versatile, it should be added as a menu item on the menu bar.
Example:
Menu bar “File > Duplicate with New Document”
Japanese

Add option in Preferences > File Handing to remove or “do not append” the word “copy” in the filename when saving a copy
Please add an option in Preferences > File Handing to remove or “do not append” the word “copy” in the filename when saving a copy. This feature is not an option in Illustrator but it is a feature in Photoshop that saves a lot of time compared to manually removing it every time.

Give the ability to export extra Spot colors in .PSD files (also implement the Mixed Inks feature)
I think it's for Adobe to implement the ability to export files in .PSD and have those extra colors in separate channels (maybe in CMYK mode plus the extra spot colors translated to extra color channels).
If it works well with PDF files why not with Photoshop files?
It's a real pain to get a 5 colors file (CMYK + Pantone color) exported to Photoshop. PSD files have all the colors flattened for the exported mode option (RGB, CMYK).
Also, it's time to think very serious about implement the Mixed Inks from Indesign into Illustrator and in the end the ability to export them correctly into Photoshop as channels.
Mixed Inks and extra channels export in Illustrator would make an even more integration between Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop...

Force GPU use. We need to disable auto GPU > CPU performance.
It's impressive to have a RTX4090 slept waiting for Illustrator CPU performance...

Voice Over Accessibility UX - When the cursor hovers over Tool Tips and Labels etc, speak the text.
Voice Over Accessibility UX - When the cursor hovers over Tool Tips and Labels etc, speak the text. This is a basic web accessibility feature not included in CC suite. I have used the Adobe software for more than 20 years but with macular degeneration it is difficult for me to read small texts. Tell your colleagues at PhotoShop and InDesign about this.

Make the Info panel more usefull
The info panel is too concise in my opinion.
E.g: when a place image is selected, it should show its pixel size, scale, rotation, color mode etc.4 votes -
User Customization of Folder Cover at Home Screen
Today I was organizing some files and creating folders when I thought how cool it would be to create an edit option in which you can add an image to the cover of a folder, currently where there is a folder icon.
Not only could this further organization, I think a customization option of a folder cover appeals to a large majority of users, especially here in university.
Think of how you can edit a playlist cover in Spotify! Thanks and I hope some people can relate to this customization idea!

Swatch icons background color & size feature so that the swatches could be distinguished also if are a white pattern on a transparent bg
Issue is described here:

attributi testo

Export for screens missing modern features in order to be useful for responsive images on the web in 2022
It's 2022 and responsive images on the web are well supported across all browsers.
Export for Screens is close to being a good tool for this, but missing out on a few smaller but critical needs for modern responsive web (by priority):
1. Customize ppi in combination with width / height / scale Formats exports
2. Support for moderne formats: webp, avif and near future jpegXLAnd not really a export only feature, but:
3. Be able to override antialiasing export settings per layer so text and artwork can be applied different antialiasing during exportNote: Typical answer to several of these things are "Use Photoshop", but it's also lacking most of these features.

Please show document name in full screen mode too
When in Full Screen mode (MacOS), the top bar shows 'Adobe Illustrator 2022', but not the name of the document (which is much more relevant ;-)
please show the document name.4 votes -
Import SVG fails to load images correctly when linked via a use tag with the source provided in the defs
The import SVG feature does not correctly load images when using a use tag that links to an image in the defs list.
The issues with the import are the following:
1. The image is incorrectly placed in the clipping group, despite one not being present in the svg.
2. Two strange clipping path triangles are incorrectly added to the clipping group that completely hides the images.
3. The art board is also incorrect and not placed around the design.I created a small svg example that has an image that is linked twice within the design.

I am running the latest version of Illustrator, version 26.5. This issue affects previous versions of the software.

Dual Colour Values for Each Colour Swatch for CMYK and RGB Modes
I use brand colours that have specific colour values in CMYK and RGB. When I create a design in RGB and then have to convert it to CMYK for print I have to import the CMYK swatches after changing the document colour mode to CMYK and then globally replace all the colours. I would like it if when you define a swatch you can have an option to give it an RGB value for RGB mode and a CMYK value for CMYK mode. Then you could switch between colour modes without having to deal with new swatches and colour replacement. I'm sure this could work and it would be a game-changer for me to only have to deal with one set of dual-value colour swatches for each client/brand.

AI Reference Guide - Downloadable
I would love to see a return of a downloadable reference guide / user manual. I want the ability to read through it offline, occasionally print the page that's pertinent to my task, and have a book that is physically on my desk (not the desktop).. FYI, on this page (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/faq.html), under Learning Illustrator > Where can I find the manual, the answer is: "You can find web and PDF versions of the Illustrator manual on the Illustrator Help page." I'm still looking for that PDF...

A tint percentage slider in swatch options (like InDesign)
If a tint of a global colour has been added to the swatches the percentage cannot be adjusted. If you double click on the tint it brings up the swatch options panel for the colour the tint is based on, but there is no option to change the tint strength.
Can it be the same as InDesign - when you double click on the tint there is a tint slider available in the swatch options panel?
