2020ファイルフォーマット、後方互換性の破壊
iMac 27inch(2020/32GB/1TB/Corei5)
macOS10.15.7リンク配置したJPG画像に対してエフェクトをかけると以前のバージョンのイラストレータ（ver.24およびver.25）でPGF部分を正常に認識できずにPDF部分より復元しようとする。
再現手順
1. ver.26.0.1にて新規ドキュメントを作成し、JPG画像を配置する。JPG画像自体は埋め込まずリンク画像としてあつかう。
2. 配置画像に対して「効果→スタイライズ→ドロップシャドウ」のアピアランスを適用する。
3. 2020形式で当該ファイルを保存。
4. Illustrator2021にて当該ファイルを開くとネイティブ部分のデータを読み込めず、ダイアログが表示されPDF部分のデータよりリカバリを行おうとする。実際の結果
旧バージョンにてIllustratorファイルを正常に開くことが出来ない。期待される結果
2020形式で保存した場合、ver.24及び25にて従来のように正常にファイルを開くことができる。これはJPG画像をリンクとして配置したものにエフェクトを適用すると起こるようです。スタイライズのみならずトリムマークやPhotoshop効果等でも同様の症状が出ます。
しかしながら、すべてのJPGで再現するわけではありません。条件を特定しようとしたのですが特定に至っていません。

配置画像のリンク切れ
macOS Big Sur ver.11.5.2 Illustrator ver.25.3.1 M1Universal
intele MacでパッケージをしたデータをIllustrator ver.25.3.1 M1Universalで開くと画像のリンクが全て外れます。
またリンクフォルダから1つ配置し直すと本来は全て自動的に読み込み再リンクされますが、これもされず全画像リンク処理をしなければなりません。

Mac OS Save As file name highlight bug
Productivity killing bug in Illustrator 25.2.3, but not Photoshop 22.3.1!:
Mac OS (Catalina, currently) Save As dialog box highlights the entire file name, including the extension, which has been a bug the past several versions. For over a decade, Save As would not include the extension in the highlight, so one could tap the arrow key once to the end of the file name to change it, to increment a version number for example. This bug has been a huge stumbling block in my productivity.
Also, in Illustrator, the sometimes Save As does not highlight the file name at all…

Type — Different Opacity Settings Not Displayed (GPU Preview)
AI Version: 25.2
OS: MacOS 11.2.1
Using GPU PreviewProblem:
- With some type selected, edit the text and change the Opacity of only some letters.
- Note that those characters do not look changes.
- Switch to CPU Preview and note that the Opacity of those letters now display as expected.

Opacity Doesn't Live Update when using Properties Panel + Keyboard
AI Version: 25.2
OS: MacOS 11.2.1
Using CPU & GPU PreviewProblem:
- With an object selected, open the Properties Panel.
- Click in the Opacity field and use the keyboard to increment the opacity up or down.
- Note that the object's opacity doesn't change unless the change is accepted either by pressing the Return key, or clicking into the artwork.
Expected Behaviour:
- As the opacity is adjusted using the keyboard, the artwork should demonstrate the changed opacity.
Notes:
- If you use the Transparency Panel, and adjust the Opacity there, the keyboard commands are recognized as usual.3 votesCompleted (Comments Open) ·

Align Text box with Object
Using Windows 7 or High Sierra and Illustrator 24.2
Align text with any object is not aligned properly. Presently it takes text box and actual height/width of text and aligns object width/height.
I understand this is way Illustrator text work, but can changed/update so can properly aligns. Hoping to get it resolved in near coming versions.
The alignment should work like Indesign or any vector program. Check attachment.
3 votesYou can now choose to align to preview bound of a type object, using Align to Glyph Bounds option in Align panel’s menu.

Illustrator crashes when switching views in the Asset Export panel
Has this been reported yet? There's a really easy-to-reproduce crash bug in Adobe Illustrator involving the Asset Export panel that affects even the latest version (24.2) .
If the Asset Export panel contains more than two items and an item other than the first is currently being renamed and the view is attempted to be switched from Grid View to List View, the mouse cursor will begin to move really slowly for a few seconds and after that, Illustrator will crash. Key object selection mismatch
When I select two objects and choose the key object for allignment, the top allignment option shows the «Align to key object» and object gets highlighted, however if I go to the sidebar to introduce a spacing number it shows «Align to selection» instead and I need to change the option again. This is so frustrating.

Applying Crop Filter causes illustrator to crash
Hi, I've been trying to use the crop tool from Pathfinder today and every time it's very slow, then freezes, then crashes.. I've got the latest update.. What can be the reason?

Some Dashed Lines make Ai crash
When typing these values in the Dashed Line fields:

SVG Export
AI 22.1. 64-bit Windows 10
The SVG export is much better in this new version of AI. However, on some art boards it is still missing some components. However, if I select the art board, then choose Save As SVG, it displays the components, but it is a much larger file. I will upload this AI file, which has 12 art boards. It is Art Board #11 that is not exporting properly when I press Ctrl+Alt+E. This image has 6 green bars, but 3 of those bars are not showing up in the image. Illustrator CC 2018 (Mac) error message after quitting program
Every time I quit Illustrator CC 2018 (Mac) I get an error message. See attached file.

Deleting Successive Artboards
If you have a list of artboards and try and delete several of them in a row, deleting one will deselect the list. This is not a major issue in most cases, but it is a nuisance when having to quickly delete 40 or more artboards; it doubles the number of commands that need to be inputted before reaching the same result.

CC2014 No artboard names (macOS Sierra - 10.12)
When using Illustrator CC2014 with macOS Sierra (10.12.6) no artboard names appear. Can this bug be rectified please?

Distorted curve line when saving an SVG
Hello, when we save from AI/EPS to SVG file, the 'f' edge path of the logo automatically becomes out of shape. We tried different colors and it works fine. This issue only happen on white SVG. Please help.
2 votesIncrease Decimal Places value in Export As / Save As (under More Options) to raise the precision. By default it’s too low, and if your graphics is rather small, it can cause problems like this.

Illustrator Version 28.7.1 - xmpfile does not have a constructor ( using Extendscript with Illustrator )
OS: macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 (23G93)
Illustrator version 28.7.1Prior to this update I have been able through extendscript to read XMP data from a file. After the update I get an error:
"XMPfile does not have a constructor".
on the line of code:
var xmpf = new XMPFile(.........Reverting to the prior version resolves the issue.

Application name in dialogue box contains strange character
Illustrator version 27.6 shows strange characters in dialogue box.
The app name is $$$/GeneralStr/196=Adobe Illustrator.

Illustrator fails to export all text into final pngs or jpegs
I have been exporting images with text layers and I've noticed Illustrator seems to indiscriminately not export certain lines of text (not layer groups to be clear, but random lines of text). I don't know how to replicate this issue because it appears random, but I did include pngs of the file that I had this issue with most recently.
