Character Properties disappears in "Draw Inside" / clipping group
Can't access the Character Properties (like changing font/size/line height) while in "Draw Inside" mode. I have to create/edit text in my main layer and cut/paste it in the "Draw Inside" object.
Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

I believe I encountered the same problem in version 28.1. The problem is that the character properties don't appear for text inside a clipping group. You can reproduce it with the following steps:
1. Make some text.
2. If you select it, a "Character" section will appear in the "Properties" panel, allowing you to set the font and styling (see screenshot #1).
3. Draw a shape over the text and make a clipping mask out of it.
4. Now, when you select the text, either by double-clicking it or by entering isolation mode, the "Character" section does _not_ appear in the "Properties" panel (see screenshot #2).As a workaround, one can change the font and styling from the Character window instead.

Adam, the problem doesn’t happen when I check it today.
Does it still happen for you? -

When I select some text, 'Character' block in Properties panel is gone (illustrator 2020 for Mac). But when I click 'Edit clipping path', I am not able to select certain text for editing. Could you please help solve this issue. Thanks in advance!
