Drop shadow bug on modal dialogs
Modal dialogs in Illustrator 22.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows are rendering incorrectly for me.
I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Drop shadows, outer glows, etc. on triangles or any polygon with and angled side (even rotated rectangles) render incorrectly. There is a break in the shadow. Not just on the screen but in the print as well.

The same on various graphics cards. This looks like budget 3rd party software not the leading software for designers. One thing u can do is to disable windows shadows in system > system information > advanced system settings > advanced > performance > visual effects.

This has been an issue for me ever since Windows 10 came out - Illustrator renders its own window drop-shadows since around 2012. Windows 10 removed the thick window borders since Windows Vista, but Illustrator still thinks those thick borders are still there - it just looks sloppy on Adobe's part.

Same here with v 22.1 64bit and current Nvidia drivers (391.35) for GTX 1070 on Win10 Pro (v 1709, build 16299.309).
If I switch tasks with alt+tab, the dialog's shadow renders correctly after some milliseconds of refresh. Reopening the dialog, brings back the wrong state of shifted shadow.
