    Thanks for reporting the issue. We have tried the scenario and failed to reproduce it,it would be helpful if you could provide some more information-

    Is this happening on win 7 only?

    Have you tried cleaning the preferences and re launching the application?Does that solve the issue.

    Have you encountered this issue with the latest Illustrator build?

    Hi,

    Thanks fro reporting the issue,I have tried this with win 10 4k machine at 200% scaling but didn't encounter this issue. It would be helpful if you give me some more information-
    Were you using dual monitor?
    Which version of Illustrator are you on?

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused,Please let me if the issue still persists. You can try changing the UI scaling in preference panel to small as suggested by frank.

    Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience and disappointment the issue has caused. We do test our products thoroughly including running it through multiple beta testers and we really regret that this issue slipped past our quality checks.
    We have a fix and is available in the pre-release build. Please visit https://adobe.ly/1o2SDsg and get the latest build for version 23.0.5 While the build is prerelease this build is still of production quality. Please feel free to use/recommend it for your day to day activity.
    We would appreciate if you can give us the feedback on the correctness of the fix by pressing the Thumbs up button on the UserVoice page.

    Have you tried updating your OS?
    Is this happening very frequently?
