Font Size resets to 12pt when new font family is chosen
Changing font face also changes font size.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Select text with text selector tool
2. Select a new font face from the font face drop down menu
Expected results: font face changes while all other font properties remain the same.
Actual result: font face and font size properties change.
Using Illustrator v22.1

I was poking with this, and there is still some weirdness going on. I applied a Paragraph Style that had no overrides for Character Font or Style format, but it changed all the fonts to Myriad. Having a paragraph style that deletes all underlines, bold, italics, etc. when it isn't supposed to isn't very nice.

Is it still broken for you?
It works fine for me, whatever I try, and doe not get resized to 12 pt. -

This issue occurs when using text that has a paragraph style applied to it.
This bug is still unresolved. I contacted Adobe Support with documentation months ago and was told it would be addressed and I would be emailed an update within days. No response. Please fix!

Yes, always reverts to 12 pt.. Also, often when one changes the face, style will be set to thin even if, say, regular, is chosen. I have to go back and set style to regular again.
