Tools not working.
Some tools not working. When I click on the text tool I get something that looks like a pencil with a circle with a slash through it underneath the pencil-brush-pen-line tools. I deleted preferences and nothing helps. This is very aggravating.

Is the layer you are working on locked? Window > Layers, then switch off the lock icon.
