Panels load on different screens
Hello!
My operating System is 64 bit Windows 10 and I have the latest 2018 CC version of Illustrator.
The setup: I am working on 2 4K Monitors. 1 is a 32" LG and the other is the 24" Wacom Cintiq Pro. (However, this happens regardless of what type of monitor you have). I don't spread my workflow between monitors like some people do,. I prefer to have browsing on one and my Illustrator workspace on the other. However, since I do work with a Ciintiq I very often swap my workspace from my Cintiq back to my monitor. Here is where the proiblem lies!
Whenever I activate any dialog box/panel (Rotate, Save, Mirror, Scale, Simplify, ...any of them) on my main monitor (Monitor 1) it pops ip inside of Illustrator just like it should. If I drag my entire Illustrator program and begin to use it on my Cintiq (Monitor 2) and I try to activate any of the dialog boxes they still continue to pop up on Monitor 1. This is a huge waste of time because now what has to happen is I have to put my pen down, grab the mouse, drag the dialog box over to Monitor 2 and then resume my workflow.
I have to do this for every dialog box that I use and then Illustrator will remember to open them in Monitor 2, UNTIL the monitor gets turned off, I restart or I flip back to Monitor 1 for my main screen, in which case I have to repeat the process all over again.
What I expected: That the program would autosense the Monitor you are working on and load all panels and dialog boxes on that monitor or which ever monitor your main illustrator artboard is activated on.
