Tool panels are enlarged or scaled up
Updated to Illustrator 2019 - workspace panels have increased dramatically in size - see screen grab of Illustrator and the same area in photoshop.
Solutions helpful as I cannot have as many panel open as they now take up so much space!

Thanks that helped my issue. Mine was ridiculously larger...do they really think we're all going blind?

My resolve was under the Illustrator CC dropdown: preferences, user interface, UI scaling and moving the slider to small. Now my tools palette and prompt windows are comparable to what InDesign is at standard default. Hope that helps!

Thanks, @Raghuveer. That's great, that works a treat. Love the new CC some significant practical updates in here.

It has been happening since 2018 photoshop actually. on 1080p laptop, I cannot seem to work with this. at all. And now Illustrator is affected too. The only workaround is to set my desktop scaling to 100% rather than 125% which is the recommended one. Which basically makes everything else too small to even read..
I have tried every setting including DPI settings in compatibility options. Nothing seems to work.Below is the before and after screenshot of illustrator. Before is the ideal view. after is the new updated huge UI view.

Same problem! All of my panels are set to small. The entire interface is larger. All of the panels, pallets, even the fonts for the panel titles. It's not just her, it's this version.
