Image Trace disappears when I click Advanced Options

Adobe Illustrator CC2018
Image Trace disappears when I click Advanced Options.
Need to remedy this asap. tried updating and closing all other apps before starting...

Christina, yeah, Image Trace in 27.7 is pretty broken.
The team has reverted changes from 27.7 in the recent Beta.
You can use the Beta version instead, available from CCD app, or to downgrade for the moment.

Illustrator update 27.7 Image trace not working. The panel will crash (as in not having a panel) once you click on advance. And will not come back unless I restart and then does the same cycle.

When clicking the arrow next to advanced options in the Image Trace window the entire tab rolls up and disappears never to return until restarting Illustrator No known work around, it just always happens.

See attached file. As soon as the arrow is clicked, no more Image Trace... Happens with any image.
