Missing options panel for Object > Path > Simplify

I am missing an Options Panel for Object > Path > Simplify. Illustrator chooses a random simplification and automatically applies. MacBook Pro, OS Catalina, Illustrator 24.0.3

    same here, can't find solutions to this issue anywhere, and it's affecting my work heavily

    Same here. No menu, just some random simplification without options. Glad my employer pays for this product.
