Embedded Grayscale image in RGB document becomes transparent in PDF
Embed a grayscale image in an RGB document.
Save as PDF with the Default options.
The image becomes transparent.
In a CMYK document embedded greyscale images become lighter.

Looks like the greyscale image when embedded is converted to RGB in the PDF.

Because a bug has only 2 votes, it should not be ignored. 2024 still the same problem.
