File seems to be permanently stuck in isolation mode resulting in many objects being unselectable
Basically was doing a simple school project activated isolation mode and deactivated it quickly while doing this the application became unresponsive and crashed and the recovered file still had this effect persist with only one line selectable It cannot be turned off
I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Yes, I can confirm that, it happens all the time.
You can unlock temp layers and convert-reorder everything back, but this is obviously sis broken!
Something related to undos and compound path, had not time to figure it out yet. -

After isolating an image and deleting it, im stuck in this mode and can't select anything else, I can creat new things but everything else is frozen.
I've tried closing and opening file, open and close illustrator, restart my computer and saving a copy of the file and opening again.
I'm on a 2020 MacBook Pro with illustrator CC up to date. -

Sometimes, after I have entered in Isolation Mode, at the exit of Isolation, the bug creates and collect all other layers that not isolated on a layer with 50% opacity. At this point, undo (command+z) will not make the new layer created by the bug release. It will nest, with 50% transparency, all other layers that were not at the isolation. To makes things normal again I need manually release the nested layers and reorganize the hierarchy
