Can't Save certain files on Big Sur (Illustrator 24.3)
While saving certain files, illustrator starts loading, freezes and crashes.
Reinstalling didn't seem te work.

This issue is fixed in Illustrator 25.0 and above for Mac OS Big Sur. Users can disable the “Background Save” option in File Handling & Clipboard preference to workaround this issue in 24.3 and below.

This issue is back (or never left). I have the same thing on illustrator 26.0.2 and big sur.
And it seems to be solved by the same bypass - disabeling "Background Save".
Is it too much to ask for, a stable software? Lost a whole day of work from this. -

When saving any illustrator CC file, Illustrator crashes. This only happens if I "save as" to change the name of the file. If I just save the file, it save as it should. The only changes to my system is that I recently upgraded to OS Big Sur. I'm having to create copies of the files, renaming the file, then open the file, make the changes, then save. Anyone having the same issue, and if so, have you found a solution on how to fix this?
