Right click pop-up context menu box stuck in the bottom left corner of the screen
This issue started when I upgraded to Mac OS Monterey. Unfortunately, I cannot downgrade. I am using a 2018 MacBook Pro 15.6 laptop. I use a 27" 4k external monitor, but the issue occurs with the monitor and the laptop screen. The right-click menu box issue does not happen with any of the other Adobe programs. I have deleted prefs, uninstalled and installed illustrator, zapped the PRAM, and installed an older version of illustrator with no change. I understand Monterey is a beta now but is there a fix or setting to fix this problem? I appreciate your help in advance.

Starting to think this issue will never be fixed. We keep getting Illustrator updates with new unless features, but the some of the core functionality is now lagging and need attention.
Using the Application frame to fix this issue in a non-starter form our work flow. I've been working in Illustrator for more than 20 years and these last few years have been the worst in maintenance. I'm loosing hope in Illustrator.

If you activate Application frame, it works properly.
If you deactivate it, the right-click menu is misplaced.

Hi, I have been using Illustrator for several years and now, the right-click menu dont show down the cursor, instead it shows displaced right or left on screen. It seems related to the Application Frame mode, when is disabled.
I use a Macbook Pro M2 Max (clamshell) with an Apple Studio Display. Ventura 13.3 and Illustrator 27.4
Any way to fix this? Very annoying for professionals.
Thanks in advance

This is an issue when not checked Application frame. Still a problem in 2023. I have a Macbook pro m2 max, Ventura and Apple Studio display. Working on clamshell mode, only external monitor on.

Seemed to have solved this issue on my end.. I just changed the display resolution in system preferences from 'Default for Display' to 'Scaled - 2560 x 1600'.
This somehow fixed the issue. How? I have no clue - but give it a whirl, because nothing else was working for me either.

This is still an issue! In the figure. Enabling app frame fixes the problem for me. but app frame is super annoying and do not work with multiple windows as I've been working for 20 years in illustrator.

The issue has been resolved for me. I am on Monterey 12.4 (beta) Illustrator 26.2.1. But as far I can recall it has been resolved since Monterey 12.3. My setup is a M1 Mac Mini connected to a single Dell S2722QC 4K monitor. From testing, the issue seems to be related to these variables:
1. The resolution that the display is set at in the display system preference. eg. 3840 x 2160, 2560 x 1440, 1920 x 1080 etc.
2. Is illustrator running when the resolution is switched?
Setting my display to 2560 x 1440(instead of 3840 x 2160) was a workaround I discovered when there was no fix from Adobe or Apple.
However with the recent MacOS and Adobe updates, everything seems to be working as they should unless I switch display resolutions while Illustrator is running. Restarting Illustrator, will usually resolve the issue for me in those situation.

Same, though I can't update to a new version of AI, because of some of the other bugs that exist, are causing other problems so I have to stay on vr 25.2.1

I just upgraded to MacOS Monterrey and I am having the same issue. The flyout/context menu appears in random locations but never next to the curser where it is expected. On a two monitor setup it is even more frustrating.
I did notice that if I turn on Application Frame the issue is resolved, but that is not a viable solution for my work flow on two monitors.
Running: MacOS Monterey 12.3.1 on a MacBook Pro 16" 2019 with Illustrator 26.1.

I am having this issue... as are my colleagues. Very annoying having to locate and then navigate to my contextual menu. Sort of defeats the purpose.
I am using Illustrator 25.4.4 on a Mac mini M1 chip running Monterey 12.2.1
I hope this is addressed soon. -
