Some shortcuts don't work while using non-English keyboard / language layout
After upgrading to AI 26.0 (and still not fixed in 26.0.1) some shortcuts stopped working, like those:
- Show/hide layers = cmd + ;
- Lock selection = cmd + 2
It seems that all shortcuts with czech letters on the keyboard instead of US are affected. To be clear:
- On us keyboard there is ";" key, but on the Czech keyboard, there is "ů" letter.
- The same for the letter "2" on US, on the Czech keyboard, there is "ě" letter.
Possible fix: to keep logic as before, when everything worked, you have to work with hardware codes of keys instead of language translated.
I can confirm, that now to show/hide guides I have to push three keys: cmd + option + ; to activate the shortcut, so it's definitively affected by locale translation of the current keyboard map. Please, fix it and keep shortcuts work the same as for the last 20 years :)
I literally cant work.
Thanx

The only solution I found was to set the hide guides shortcut for CTRL + /, then it would work when I pressed CTRL + ; in my ABNT2 keyboard.

I use Illustrator in english, but my keyboard and pc language are in Portuguese ABNT2. I don't know if this is the problem, but for some reason some shortcuts are different from those listed on Illustrator's Keyboard Shortcuts window.
For example, Hide Guides is listed as "CTRL + ;", but it only works with "CTRL + Ç".
Another example is "Bring Foward/to Front", these commands use the "[" as one of the shortcut keys, but here is "´", while "Send Backward/to Back" normally uses "]", here only works with "[". This is really confusing. This only happens in Illustrator, all the other apps work fine.

Illustrator ver 25 on Windows.
The bring to front/forward, send to back/backward keyboard shortcuts are not working in this version. -

I would like this too. I want to use the english apps, but with swedish shortcuts. If you could download a shortcut file for your own language, that would be great.

1.Adobe Illustrator cc 21.1.0
2.When Keyboard input isn't eng, shortcut didn't work (ex.can't type "ย" in thai for pen tool, Have to switch to Eng input first)
3.Can use shortcut in another keyboard input that isn't eng.
4.Have to switch to Eng input to use shortcutps. Already re-install creative cloud and illustrator as support suggest and can't solve this issue
