Crashing
I am working on a 158 page book and have to make some changes in Illustrator. After every 4th Page Illustrator crashes on me.

Jim, unfortunately it’s hard to say anything without the file at hands.
Please upload the packaged project somewhere and send the link to the sharewithai@adobe.com, with the description of the problem.
If you can record a short video that shows the exact steps that reproduce the issue, this is going to help even more.
Also please say which version you are using.
