Illustrator window moves behind all other windows when you reposition the frame
When selecting a window in Illustrator it immediately falls to the background as I move it around. VERY obnoxious.. this is also happening in Photoshop.
Mac Studio, 64gb, Ventura 13.2.1, latest version of AI and PSD.

This began for me when my studio updated my computer to Ventura. It happens with Illustrator as well as Photoshop and InDesign. It hinders my workflow. Been about a year of this for me. Seems like its been going on a bit longer for others. Terrible that Adobe hasnt resolved this. They just keep pushing artificial intellegence. (PS. I keep all of my software up to date)

UNBELIEVABLE!!! This is STILL happening. With all the updates we have had Adobe still cant fix this?
This is not an added feature request - this is a FUNCTIONALITY issue. Make this priority one! -

Now InDesign is also doing it. Ridiculous.

I feel Adobe completely abandons practical UI design problems for fancy AI tricks to that makes them more $$$ while we keep paying more $$$
A loyal user since the early 1990's this is disheartening.

This issue is really not going away and the low level of assistance regarding this matter is irritating, this has been happening for a good year on my side - you'd think with what we pay for subscriptions that Adobe would at least invest in getting this fixed

This is beyond ridiculous. Everyone on this thread needs to bump it. Bump it over and over.

Almost August and still not addressed. Major PITA

Let me jump on the dogpile. This is a MAJOR annoyance, and also disrupts my workflow. It seems like Adobe is much more interested in developing AI tools than making sure their existing programs function well.

This is a basic functionality issue. Impossible to get into any sort of flow state. This is really disruptive. I'm surprised this problem still exists.

This bug needs to be fixed, it makes everything harder than it needs to be, you click on one program window and it clicks the program beneath it. Almost as if it were transparent. VERY frustrating!!!

As long as you add any tool to any of the default workspaces, illustrator will go behind all windows once you click on the application bar. Only standard workspaces works, however, the default workspaces (tool bars) are not comprehensive, that's why we add our own tools. Already so many years past, the problem still exists! The programmer should be fired. If Adobe refuse to rewrite the code to fix the workspace issue, I suggest just have one single workspace and turn on all the tools will do. Sorry for being blunt, there is don't need change things for the sick of changing to confuse people, introduce new errors to meet your KPI and give so much pains to the users, please!!!

Changing the workspace seems to correct the issue until you click on a Finder window, then the problem returns.
