Window keeps resizing
The window keeps resizing. I use Spectacle (a simple window resize tool that works with every other program). It's very handy to have shortcuts to move windows around like PCs do, but Mac doesn't support by default.
Now when I do certain actions, the window shrinks back down to less than full size. It's very annoying and never used to happen. Please fix!

To answer your questions:
If I use standard means, that works. But I don't like the default behavior of Mac windows and the window management system with shortcuts is way more efficient.I've only noticed this with the most recent upgrade (and I generally upgrade things soon after they're available). I'm on Ai 27.9.
You're right, it's only certain Adobe programs that cause this problem. XD seems to work fine, but Photoshop has the same issue as Ai.
I tried Rectangle, which is the top alternative to Spectacle, but the same issue occurs.

Matt, what happens, if you maximize the window with standard means, using the button in the top left corner?
Also — can you recall which version of Ai started to behave like this with Spectacle?
Have you tried other solutions other than Spectacle: https://alternativeto.net/software/spectacle/ (just to see if it’s Spectacle’s fault specifically).
You said 'every other' program, but does the same happens with Photoshop? InDesign? Other Adobe apps?At Windows, I have a similar app. It works with most of the apps, but poorly with Micrsoft-built ones, so this is somewhat similar. I believe it depends on how Spectalce is doing the resizing, and how Illustrator is maintaining it.
