Can't manually enter values within the Properties toolbar
When I go to edit a value in the properties bar (for example, angle or stroke size), nothing appears when I type. This problem doesn't exist after reloading Ai but starts occurring shortly after working with the program. The values are still editable using cursors, but make design work very difficult since I can't simply type the angle, width, stroke size, etc.. that I want.

Do you mean Properties panel or Control bar?
When it happens, are you able to use the other panels/bars to edit values?
Can you record this on video next time it happens, just to demo the exact behavior?What version do you use?
Does it happen in Beta? Can you check it? (you can install it from CCD)
