Illustrator 28.3 shuts down on my macbook pro macOS 14.4 when trying to use 3d
I'm using a MacBook Pro with the M2 chip and just upgraded to Sonoma 14.4. I also updated Illustrator to 28.3. Up until then, I had no issues using 3D Effects. Now if I attempt to use 3D effects, Illustrator will shut down. A window pops up saying it shuts down for unknown reasons, and it gives me three choices: Restart, report, or ignore.

Thanks for responding. The email used is the same. I attached the log (I hope you can open it). There's a short video of me duplicating the actions that led to the shutdown. Also, the 3D classic runs fine; just the newer stuff causes the AI to quit.

Russel, Sonoma causes sooo many issues for Illustrator users, that it can hardly be called 'upgraded' :(
Anyway — I suppose you chose report when you are given the choice? Did you use the same email the one you use here at UV, so that engineers can find your report in the database?
Can you please share a test file that 100% gives you this error, and ideally record a short video of you trying to use it?
