zoom moves the path if selected
if I select a path and then zoom in or zoom out the path moves, as if it were attracted by a snap, Illustrator version 28.5

in this video I select the square and use crtl + ctrl -
and you can see that the selected square moves every time I give the zoom command -
Alessandro, does the path actually moves, or it’s just the view jumps to it?
Can you grab it on video, please?
