White random lines get displayed while working with placed images
Good day. I've stumbled upon a visual bugs in Adobe for quite a time now. I've really thought that the sole reason was my old MacBook and although It got me angry at some point I knew I did not had the best hardware so I was in no situation of asking a bug fix. Now, I'm using the ARM MacBook with M chip, so you can say I'm having somewhat the latest hardware. Still the visual bug appears super often and I'm becoming frustrated about it.
Basically I Illustrator shows me cut lines and borders, which are not really there. I will attach few images to illustrate it better. Sometimes it fixes itself when I zoom out or in, and then if I use the zoom tool again it will break the visuals again, but this time with different "ghost" lines, which in reality does not exist.
This bug does not stop me from working, but it's **** of annoying and It will be a dream come true to see it fixed some day. There is not a single time I use illustrator that I do not see this bug. First time it occurred was about 5-6 years ago.

It's done. I've sent the email with both Ai & PDF files formats, just in case. Also pasted the link from your instruction.
Ive seem to pin-pointed the problem, as the bug itself occurs only when using scrubby zoom. -
OK, thanks! Makes total sense.
Please send these over to the sharewithai@adobe.com — the team monitors this constantly and uses for gathering sensitive files like yours.
Put the link to this report so they can track the issue (http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/48455657). -

Egor, the visual bug appears only in View using GPU. If I switch to View using CPU I do not get this bug, but everything is so laggy, that I would not work a single file in the View using CPU mode as it would make me go insane.
How often I see the lines? Well, I must say every single time. It does not matter how big the file is, how many layers are there. At first I thought it was because of the masks I use. But I get the lines even if no mask is used in the file.
If you can guarantee me this file will not get in other people hands I will share it with you, but its a work file for a package for my client and I do not think its OK to share his files with someone, as its a real package, for a real product. Also I can guarantee you it's not up to the file, as this visual bug happens to every single file in Illustrator I create. I can 100% guarantee it's not up to the exact file.
My laptop is Mackbook Pro with Apple M1 Pro chip.
OS is latest Sonoma 14.5
I do not know which driver version I use, everything is set to update automatically and I use the latest version of both OS and Adobe products. -
Kaloyan, am I right thinking these don’t get displayed when you are toggle the viewing mode in CPU?
How often do you see these lines for anything else than images?
Can you please share this particular file (with the image included) with the team? Also — what OS, GPU and driver version are you using? -
